As far as I'm aware it's not available to buy in China.

You can buy it online from the UK, see

Hi David,

I don't think there are shops in China that sell imported books on Chinese

medicine. Just a few books have cheaper prints made in China, I remember the

Wiseman dictionary had a print on thinner paper. It only cost a fraction of

the western edition.

Your best bet for books would be university bookstores, and speciality

bookstores for which you have to ask around. Beijing has a huge store for

medical books, but I really can't remember where it was. I bought some nice

paintings in there, including one which pictures Li-Shi-Zhen examining a

patient. It hangs proudly in my office :-)

Having to add shipment costs is a regular practice for us Europeans.

Americans are lucky to have Amazon and other stores with free shipping,

although some of the book store owners would probably want to kill me for

saying that.

Regards,

Tom.

I live in China but want to by some TCM books, e.g., " Applied Channel

Theory in " . Are such books available to buy in China

(preferably online) or do they have to be purchased and then shipped

to China (thereby greatly increasing the cost of the books)?

Thanks.
