Guest guest
Hi All, I would like to tell you that there will be two great seminars in San Francisco soon. Both are Japanese Acupuncture seminars. 9 years ago, in Hawaii, I happened to attend those two master's seminar and was pleasantly impressed how different what I had learned in school, Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles. For me, It was like difference between father and mother or Chinese food and Japanese food. (You will see what I really mean when you are exposed to the Japanese acupuncture, I think) Both masters showed us their techniques and they were so beautiful. And the longer I learned Japanese acupuncture, the more I understand that acupuncture is hands on hands therapy and you must see good treatments. I often say, acupuncture is an art. Like a pianist, the points you use are the score in music and if you are a good pianist, people will pay to listen to your music, but if you are not that good, people may tell you to stop your practice. How come you can become a good pianist without listening to good pianist's play? Because of this reason, I would like to tell you to see those master's treatment. They will come this year for sure, but because of the weakened dollars, I don't know what will happen next year. (You may know the other non-Japanese seminars to learn techniques, if you do, please let me know. I am willing to attend the seminar!!) Ikeda Masakazu sensei's seminar 2/27~3/1, at Cathedral Hotel in San Francisco (800)622-0855 contact: Linda (916)786-0695 Shudo Denmei sensei's seminar 5/2, 5/3 at Embassy Suites-San Francisco airport (800)362-2779 for general information (408)529-4913 Shudo sensei's techniques is great! that is what Ikeda sensei told us. When I saw Shudo sensei's treatment in Hawaii, it was wonderful too!! But, since Shudo sensei's seminar is a 2 days and Ikeda sensei's seminar is a 3 days seminar, probably less people will attend to Ikeda sensei's seminar, which means that you will have more chances to see his techniques better. Also, the translator of Ikeda sensei's seminar, Edward Obaidey sensei who has graduated from one of the oldest acupuncture school in Japan in 1990 and has been leading his Edward Acupuncture Clinic in Tokyo, is one of the greatest acupuncturist who understand both Western and Eastern culture and traditional Japanese acupuncture. I am going to attend both seminars. I will see you there!! :-) Ami Matsumoto, L.Ac. 10112 Riverside Dr. Toluca Lake, Ca 91602 (818)506-5325
