Guest guest
I have a new patient coming in next week, a 7 year-old boy with severe eczema since he was an infant. He also has (not surprisingly) food allergies (corn & oats) and asthma. His asthma is " cold- induced " (i.e., when he gets a chest cold); he only uses a nebulizer during those attacks; he is not on any medications. His mother has " tried everything " for the eczema, and feels terrible for him. I know that eczema is stubborn in general; any words of advice as to how to treat this condition in a 7 year-old, and how to treat 7 year- olds in general? This will be new to me.
