Guest guest
Dear Colleagues First of all, thank you all for your feedback. After speaking to my professor, I decided to get Paul Unschuld's Su Wen. Now my next question: The next two text to be covered In my classics class, will be Shang Han Lun and Jin Gui Yao Lue. I understand that Craig Mitchell's SHL is terrific, but it's also terrifically expensive (about the best price I could find was ~$90.) Any recommended sources? Also recommendations for JGYL would also be appreciated. Thanks, Dear colleagues, Does anyone have a reasonably priced source for Henry Lu's translation of Nei Jing and Nan Jing? I didn't find it on Amazon, Bestbookdeal, Campusi or any of the other megasites that usually have good deals. As a matter of fact, the only place I saw it was on Lu's site in BC. Thanks
Guest guest
Yehuda, The only good translation of Shang Han Lun is Mitchell/Wiseman/ Ye. It's worth the investment. Jin Gui Yao Lue will be along later this year from Paradigm Press as a companion volume, having seen a prepublication copy I can highly recommend it. The only other version is a New World Press version which may have to fill the bill for now. But if you want, you can borrow my copy. . .
