There are a number of DVDs onacupuncture listed onAmazon.com including:

Traditional Cures All Diseases- Elementary Knowledge of

Acupuncture

Format:  I have not seen any of these but you can read the descriptions at

Amazon and get an idea. Go to Amazon.com, click on Movies and TV then in the

search box, type Acupuncture and you will get a list of available DVDs and theit

description. I haven't looked butperhaps Redwing.com will have some as well.

Hope this will help you. God Bless..........Betty

Carl,

Are you looking for something for yourself or for your patients?

The Four Reliances:

Do not rely upon the individual, but rely upon the teaching.

As far as teachings go, do not rely upon the words alone, but rely upon the

meaning that underlies them.

Regarding the meaning, do not rely upon the provisional meaning alone, but

rely upon the definitive meaning.

And regarding the definitive meaning, do not rely upon ordinary

consciousness, but rely upon wisdom awareness.

Something for patients. Specifically, one clinic I work at is putting

a TV in the waiting room and asked me if I knew any DVDs on Chinese

medicine that would be cool to show.

I saw this neat documentary on Chinese medicine and another on qi gong

in China when I was in school, but I can't remember the names of them.

I found the Chinese medicine documentary by searching YouTube, but I

can't figure out the true title or where to buy it!

Searching Google didn't turn up anything.

Hi:

" I found the Chinese medicine documentary by searching YouTube, but I

can't figure out the true title or where to buy it! "

Link to that and someone may be able to help you. I'd be interested in seeing

the documentary in any case.

Bill Moyer's Healing and The Mind Series has one segment called The Mystery of

Chi " . One Amazon reviewer describes it as " filmed on location in Beijing and

Shanghai and

features David Eisenberg M.D., of Harvard Medical School, helping Bill

Moyers to explore various aspects of traditional Chinese medicine. A

specific focus of the program is on " Chi " , the energy or spirit at the

core of much of Chinese medicine's philosophy and practice. "

It is slightly dated but very interesting. Not sure if it's available in DVD

format though...and VHS seems costly.

Ha ha.... I was very surprised to see this,

seeing all of those students from ACTCM, my alma mater.

It's copyrighted 2007, but the footage must have come from at least 2005...

It's produced by Lucas Films, but the lip syncing is a little off.

Greetings, I have directed and produced an 18 minute video on the use

of ear acupuncture for trauma after a disaster, specifically through

the lens of St Vincent's walk in, ear acupuncture based program that

opened on September 12, 2001. Programs from around the world are

depicted. The intent was to make an educational, outreach video so

more of the world can understand we have a lot to offer for current

overwhelming needs in the world at large. It profiles the NADA

protocol because that is what was used in these programs and is a

basic, balancing treatment shown to be safe among large numbers of

unscreened, distressed patients. MY website is still in progress,

but up and running to make the video available, either by sending a

check, or using the paypal on the site.

Website address: Malula.net

The price is 15 for students, 20 for NADA members, and 25 of others,

including shipping.

Checks should be made out to laura Cooley and sent to:

Laura Cooley, LAc

22 Forrest Tallman Rd

Orford, NH 03777

I hope to be providing more videos on acupcunture in the future, Laura
