Guest guest
Hi Kath, battlefield acupuncture works very well. I can testify this from my own experience of 20 years of auriculo-acupuncture. The points chosen mostly are gyrus cinguli (close to pituitary region) thalamus (stitched from outside) point zero omega 2 and shen men. You start normally with gyrus cinguli on the side of the pain or - in case of central pain locations - according to handedness, let the patient walk around (!!!) and check whether or not the pain is changing. If there is no reaction take the opposite gyrus cinguli and chose this ear as effective. Continue by adding more needles in the sequence given above. Almost every pain related to orthopedic problem respond very well. In chronic disorders an access to the emotional sphere is necessary, though. E. g. using EFT.
