Inguinal hernia

My reason for writing at this time is that I have a friend in the SF

area that has an Inguinal hernia that is quite large, about the size

of a baseball, is 70 yrs old male, 5'5 " , weighs about 110 lbs and in

excellent health otherwise.Though he does complain of a yin stomach

and can not handle cold foods or liquids. Now he is preparing to go

into surgery in Modesto Hernia ctr.

 

I will probably be forwarding him any of this information.

 

My question is:

 

Has anyone on this site worked with such treatment regarding hernias

and if so would they share their information? Or recommend a reliable

Acupuncturist in the San Francisco Bay area that might do him some

good or even keep him out of surgery?
