Guest guest
Hi all, I have an 11 year old girl coming in on Thursday with a history of migraines for nearly 3 years. Apparently lying down helps the headaches, and sitting or standing up can bring them on, which led them to suspect cerebrospinal fluid issues. She has had thorough evaluations by neurologists, and they have no answers. However, she did have a spinal tap one year before the headaches began (but they seemed to have rules this out as a cause). Loud noises can also be a trigger. I don't have more info yet, as I haven't done a full eval yet. Anyway, I am asking about this case because of her age. I haven't treated many minors, does anyone have any suggestions regarding treatment, especially needling techniques/styles/etc? Thank you! Fiamma Sita Aaron, L.Ac., C.A., Dipl. O.M.
