Guest guest
Some of you requested that I send out the replies I receive for seated qi gong and tai qi videos. Here's what I have so far: http://www.shengzhen.org/bookstore.htm http://www.holistic-arts.com/ht/shop_ck.html The instructor is Lawrence Galante I have always been a fan of Dr. Yang Jwing Ming. He has a nice dvd on 8 pieces of brocade that includes both standing and seated. The standing can be modified easily for chair bound as well. http://www.ymaa.com/ Dr. Yang, Jwung Ming has an excellent DVD or video of the " Eight Simple Qigong Exercises for Health " . You can probably find it on Amazon.Com or from Yang's Martial Arts. He does both standing and seated Qigong exercises and it is very good. You can also try EastWestQi.com for Dr. Effie Poy Chow's Qigong on DVD. Best of luck, it is a wonderful idea to teach Qigong to the seniors (I personally met Effie Chow last year, and I think she is completely amazing - ABD) I have LeeHolden's Qi Gong for Seniors and quite like it. Here's the link: http://www.exercisetoheal.com/Qi+Gong+for+Seniors/ 8 Pieces of Brocade has a seated portion and a standing portion. The seated portion can be done by itself. (I googled this one and found a free online video, but just a portion of the whole: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5941928815527121512 Traditional Oriental Medicine Happy Hours in the CALM Center 1770 E.
