Guest guest
Hi, I've been reading Jeffrey Jacob's book... The Acupuncturist's clinical handbook. Does anyone know how to use these points together? Also, he writes that there are Gu points...LI 4, Sp 7, ST 43, SI 2, SI 5, UB 66, KD 2, KD 10, KD 20, GB 8 Have you ever seen these? Guest guest
Hi Most of the stuff you mention comes from Jeffrey Yuen AFAIK. wrote: > Hi, > I've been reading Jeffrey Jacob's book... The window of heaven points are related to the stems and open the portals ( sensory organs) so patient has a connection with what is happening around, a better sense of connection with the Cosmos big shen) Doorway to Earth points are related to the branches therefore earthly matters and Jeffrey talks about using these points as elimination what is no longer needed (things that are not part of one's authentic nature) Actually there are many other points that can be counted as the doorway to the earth points as there is no consensus. Having said that I am 5E trained and my use of window of heaven points are different to Jeffrey's teaching and quite frankly I had not tried the doorway points as I do not feel I know enough of their functions (in this aspect). > > Also, he writes that there are Gu points...LI 4, Sp 7, ST 43, SI 2, SI 5, UB > 66, KD 2, KD 10, KD 20, GB 8 > Have you ever seen these? I have heard this in Jeffrey Yuens therapeutic actions of acupuncture points. He builds images with the names of the points and shows how to use names to have a better understanding of what the point is capable of. It was just an example story he gave in the lecture. One can do a similar approach with words " ling " and " shen " or " guan " per say. Hope this helps Togan
