Guest guest
I thought it was for emergencies... internal bleeding. No one knows what's in it, except red # 40... and probably Tian Qi. Anyone else? K. Guest guest
Hi Hugo, One of the main indications that I use YNBY is for the sequelae of emotional and physical trauma. Using Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, we diagnose this from a Rough Vibration over the entire pulse at Uniform Impressions. This finding is pathognomonic of trauma sufficient enough to destabilize the Heart and circulatory function (often depleting the Kidney yang and affecting the 'nervous system'). YNBY will be prescribed with a modification of Sheng Mai San tailored to the individual. When doing this, YNBY will be dosed in a few different ways. One common way is the following: first night: little red pill first day: 1 orange pill 2x/day second day: 1 orange pill 3x/day third day: 1 orange pill 4x/day 4th day to end of 64 pills: 2 pills 4x/day These are done in conjunction with the Sheng Mai San. It produces remarkable results, especially as we consider Heart Shock/Trauma to be a major 'block' to treatment. Often patients are sensitive to YNBY due to weak digestion. If so, I typically will give just a couple pills per day and let the course of 64 pills just take longer to complete. This is a very important treatment strategy as more and more people exhibit the findings of Heart Shock. When trained to feel for these pulses, one is often amazed at how many have it.... Guest guest
Chief ingredient in Yun Nan Bai Yao is San Qi. The formula is mainly used in China to stop bleeding. The concentrated powder was put on their wounds by soldiers to stop bleeding when they were on the warfields and wounded. It can also be taken internally to stop hemorraghing. However, intake should be short term and primarily for acute internal bleeding onle; once bleeding stops, then need to stop. --- On Sat, 11/29/08, Renee Jensen <ramtriangle wrote: Renee Jensen <ramtriangle Re: Yunnan Bai Yao Chinese Medicine Saturday, November 29, 2008, 11:23 PM My father was given this formula because he had Leukemia. Guest guest
As it is difficult to treat, I can see why, if the symptoms and signs were right, yunnan baiyao might be considered. It may have been appropriate. Did it help your father? What other support did he find?
