Guest guest
Hi All, thansk for the replies, and one more question: anyone here able to give an estimate on how many failures they've had for breech tx? Awful difficult to answer, but give it a shot if you can. Thanks, Hugo ________________________________ Hugo Ramiro http://middlemedicine.wordpress.com http://www.chinesemedicaltherapies.org
Guest guest
Hi Hugo For me the failure rate is very high the closer the woman is to full term when they show up, which is in about 50-60% of cases.Failure rate would be more than 50%.Much better results before 36 weeks.appx 60% will turn and stay turned. A frank breech is the most stubborn with the worst outcome(no change in position). Turning a breech baby can also elicit labor so caution needs to be applied.
