" Balancing the Koshi -acupuncture and Japanese manual medicine "

 

This weekend seminar introduces an integrated Japanese structural

approach to treating the " koshi " or lumbar-pelvic center, Rooted in

clear anatomy through an understanding of the classics in relation to

Dai Mai, Liver-Gall Bladder, and Shao Yang energetics, this seminar

integrates Japanese palpatory skills with superficial Meridian therapy

and deep Sei Tai shinpo needle techniques with Sotai Ho movement therapy "

 

Jeffrey Dann has over 25 year experience in the Japanese arts and has

studied with the masters of Meridian therapy, Sei Tai shinpo, Sotai

and Seitai shiatsu. He has been the past president of the Traditonal

Japanese Acupuncture Foundation (Hawaii) for 15 years. He is an the

AIMC faculty for their Japanese Acupuncture Certificate Program as

well as faculty for the Southwest Acupuncture College (Boulder).A

Ph.D. in medical anthropology, he is an instructor for the Turkish

Medical Acupuncture Association(Istanbul) Also, he is

co-editor of NAJOM (North American Journal of Oriental Medicine) and

he has been co-leader with Stephen Brown for the Tokyo '07 and Tokyo

'08 advanced training programs of AIMC , the Goto College of Medical

Arts (Tokyo) and The All Japan Meridian Therapy Association.
