Hello,

I have a patient with a bone spur in the heel area on the right foot. He is very

sensitive patient.

I use body points according to my diagnosis of Liver and Kidney yin deficiency

and liver qi stagnation.

I have also tried to surrender the bone spur from 3 to 5 needles inserting them

superficially since he is very sensitive. Does moxa or electroacupuncture work

in this case and do I need to stimulate needles

around bone spur? I use Flex (Spur) from Evergreen as his formula I also know

some external herbs to use but have not tried them yet.

Thank you.

Yuliya

I have very good success with a TENS unit on the heels and fascia on the plantar

aspect of

the feet. It is much less painful than needles, and safer, more effective.

That goes for ES (needle electro-stim) also.

I've used a crossing 4-point pattern --- ca. Ki5 to UB-63 and ca. UB-62

to ca. Ki-2, dispersing frequency ca. 10-15Hz.

If you have a device that can create an " interference pattern " across

the area, that's also said to be very effective. (Those expensive

devices sold by Darren Starwynn's company can do that.)
