Guest guest
Hello Bruce: You wrote: " Herbs and acupuncture have been amazing for cancer treatment in my patients. " The Chinese herbalist who I have been studying with insists that all of the herbal formulae regarding cancer are phony and will do nothing to help patients, and that only the old Chinese doctors know the real secrets. At the same time he is not forthcoming about the formulae he has used, as he still holds these as trade secrets. I don't accept such arguments, but it is difficult to discern the true from the false. Do you have a good source for such herbal treatments? There is a 1996 book published in China, " Research on Tumors " (Zhong Yi Ai Liu Xue) which has many formula about cancer. Acupuncture and herbs do seem capable of addressing cancer. As a traditional herbalist, my teacher knows almost nothing about acupuncture and often insists it doesn't work. Bruce, apologies for not checking the author´s credentials before emailing the data. The site ( http://www.ztdent. com.tw/ztdent/ Acupuncture/ in Taiwan) has lots of teaching material in Chinese, but I cannot verify the bona-fides / expertise of the author(s) and I am not sure how good the data are. Therefore, the data are indeed questionable. The site has another file, with loads of info (cookbook points) in Chinese on common clinical conditions, at: http://tinyurl. com/5fhf4p Best regards,
