long island/manhattan area referral needed

Hi all,

I have an 84 year old client who needs to have a tooth pulled, due to

infection that has spread to the bone. She is allergic to all forms of dental

anesthesia and asked me if I could do acupuncture before and during the

procedure to prevent pain. Never having done this before, I had to decline. I'm

not comfortable with the possibility that I wouldn't be able to do it well

enough and that she might go into shock as a result.

Does anyone know of an acupuncturist who does have this kind of experience to

whom I could refer her? Any leads would be most appreciated! Thanks.
