Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I have been solicited quite a few times about the gogi berry and other various " herbal " products with the idea that I can sell them to my patients. The pitch is that I can create a win/win for the patients and myself. The patient gets this great $40 bottle of juice and I get residual money from the sale. Here is my problem and I wonder if anyone else is struggling with this one. I work very hard to show my patients I am a competent, honest, professional that is in service to helping their health. What would happen to all of that dedication and hard work when the first Dateline,20/20,CNBC special that comes on talking about a pyramid scheme that involves gogi berry juice or anything else I'm selling? I think this is a great discussion and I have a site dedicated to the business of acupuncture. www.acupunctureeconomics.ning.com. Please check it out and give feedback. Guest guest
Hi Steve, I read your presentation at http://www.mindfulhealing.biz/acupuncturist.shtml and feel that you are making a good contribution to Chinese medicine's cultivation in American culture. I'm impressed with what you've done on behalf of acupuncture in the military and government setting. Congratulations. With regard to the economics of MLM, all pyramid schemes are win-lose-lose-squared-lose-cubed, etc. It doesn't take a degree in mathematics to see that any individual's profits come from downstream distribution. End users always get a fraction of what they pay for. It's the economics of the monarchy, kingdom or empire. It takes a multitude of pawns to create and support the wealth at the pinnacle of the kingdom. Our Western culture supposedly outgrew that sort of thing in the 18th Century. Could be that some folks didn't get the memo. Respectfully, Emmanuel Segmen
