Guest guest
Yehuda, won't attach files. You can upload to the files section of CHA. It's a fairly easy process. We look forward to the studies. Doug , yehuda frischman < wrote: > > Dear colleagues, > > The attached data has been forwarded to me for review. There are three randomized double-blind placebo controlled studies on the health benefits of fresh squeezed (as opposed to reconstituted from dried berries) Gou Qi Zi juice. One was published in May 2008 in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, and the other two are currently under peer review at other journals. They address subjective wellness, immune function, and in-vivo anti-oxidant levels respectively. > > I would appreciate your feedback. > > > sincerely, > > > > >

Guest guest
Yehuda, Thanks... These are interesting studies, which validate traditional science. But, what I'm interested in is the study that compares fresh squeezed gou qi zi fruit vs reconstituted juice from dried berries. These studies are a marketing tool for Gochi, because most of us have no access to fresh squeezed gou zi berries. In other words, we have to buy their product to get those results from the studies. For practitioners like you and me, we need studies based on the resources we have on hand, so that we can give these to our patients... studies about dried gou qi zi and extracts. K. Guest guest
I think it's always important to consider the source of the studies as well. In this case, a multi-level marketing company (or pyramid scheme / Amway): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreeLife Not saying it isn't a good product, but wasn't that coffee-alternative pyramid ling zhi thing just going around a short while ago?
