Guest guest
Dunno about home printers. I'm like you Tony, hard to believe that. On the other hand, I have seen flash drives that have 128 gig so it actually doesn't take much room now to store info. And--I went to my local copy place. I went to a machine and made a copy of my drivers license for my own personal storage use. It was a color copy, me thinking that would show up clearer. When I got to the counter to pay the woman grabbed my copy and said "oh, no, sorry, you can't do this". What? Turns out they refuse to sell (if they see it) color copies of drivers license because it could be used to make fake license. Ok--I'll buy that. But the interesting thing was that she said SHE could get in trouble for letting me do it. I asked how in the world could she get into trouble if I took the copy and made some copies to give to someone without a license. How would anyone know? She said--if that person ever got caught and they scanned the license copy, they'd see exactly what printer made it, track that printer down to her store and she'd be in trouble. Well--someone in there would be in trouble though there'd be no way to say which employee allowed the copy to be made and sold. She then went on to show me how there are hidden numbers put onto every copy that can be traced to a certain machine! She had already black markered my license, but she showed me exactly where it would be and said it just takes a special light to see it. So--they do this with commercial copy machines. I guess it would be possible to do it with small home printers. 128 gig could hold a LOT of information, page wise. samala, Renee www.eamega.com/RPainManageEnt Chronic pain does NOT belong in your body.
