Recipe for Energy Soup

Ann Wigmore, a pioneer of natural healing, has lots of great "smoothie" recipes; smoothies are raw foods, mixed in a blender.

This recipe is based on Ann

Wigmore's original energy soup recipe. We have probably modified her

recipe over the years to create a "green pudding" we absolutely love.

Serves 1 person:

One apple – cored4 oz. apple juice (tastes much better with organic, unfiltered)1 small avocado – peeled & pitteddinner salad (or cereal) bowl full of spinach leaves (organic spinach important)dinner salad (or cereal) bowl 3/4 full of alfalfa sproutsquarter small lemon (just cut off rind)1 clove of garlic peeled (optional)

Place all in VitaMix or strong blender – puree, starting slowly, then building until fully blended. Eat with a spoon.

Great served with raw flax crackers or other wholesome crunchies.
