Red Cross, United Way, Cancer Research Execs get Hundreds of thousands in salaries.

When you feel like donating, consider the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000

You don't know the half of it. Here is some of

the information: http://www.aim.org/aim-column/bad-week-for-the-red-cross/

Also known for bad blood and at one time was

fined over $4 million by

FDA:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & source=hp & q=Red+cross+fined+4+million+by+FDA+\

for+bad+blood & aq=f & oq= & aqi=

Remember the Red Cross having to do with 911

donations:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/07/30/eveningnews/main516886.shtml

If you're talking about Haiti, they surely need

help. It's a shame the government doesn't give

directly to the people who need it instead of the rulers.

Red Cross pulls some pretty nasty stuff. I personally know someone whose brother's home was hit by a hurricane. Lost everything, but was too proud to take any money from his family. So the guy I know went to the Red Cross and gave them $3000 to give to him, telling him it was from the Red Cross.

The brother called up my friend, so excited. He said "the Red Cross just GAVE me $1500 and told me I didn't have to pay it back! Isn't that great?".

My friend went and asked what happened to the rest of the money and was told it was kept for 'administration purposes"

Yeah--like I'd donate to the red cross.

Everyone on FaceBook is being asked not to donate to Red Cross - if I get

some details I'll post them

That reminds me about an effort to feed

survivors, rebuild houses, and clean up the mess

made by Hurricane Andrew in Florida by Jehovah's

Witnesses. They were giving the people food and

water when the Red Cross came to help. The Red

Cross would not give out anything until the press got there to observe them.
