Guest guest
I have heard that doing the master cleanse for at least 10 days will kick any habits. although I only made it to 5 and 6 and then caved for my latte. Guest guest
www.emofree.com.. EFT seems to work real well. There's an 87 page basic manual there which you can download for free. Also, Google EFT, quitting smoking. There's an EFT video with the founder of EFT, Gary Craig, on YouTube. Guest guest
First, find a real reason for wanting to quit. You must want to do it for yourself - not because someone else wants you to do it or says you should do it. Second, Decide on a date when you will do it. Third , Just do it. There are three days that your body will cleanse itself of most of the habit-forming chemicals. Expect side effects and counter them with doses of vitamin C and the B-complex. The psycological and phsical habits will take up to six weeks to resolve them. During that time you may want to smoke but you really don't need to smoke Remember, quitting is simple but not easy. If you need help, drugs are the least effective. Laser therapy is the most effective. Hypnotherapy is in between. Most effective really is determination. --- On Mon, 1/11/10, Barbs <barbaraytes wrote: Barbs <barbaraytes Does anyone have any suggestion on how to quit smoking? Guest guest
You may recognize that as withdrawal symptoms which will run their course and pass. The first three months are the worst. It may be a year or more before you get to where you don't miss the cigarettes at all. Fresh pressed fruit and vegetable juices are helpful. If you can do it, a 30 day juice fast (with bowel cleansing program) is the 100% answer to quitting smoking. Also your mind will play little tricks on you to try to get you to smoke again. This is also another withdrawal symptom. Good luck to you....................BetsyBarbs <barbaraytes Sent: Mon, January 11, 2010 10:17:43 AM Does anyone have any suggestion on how to quit smoking? Guest guest
Ummm--no. Ten days did not kick any habit for me. Not that I was trying to kick a habit. I felt great after the 10 days, but still had cravings. Guest guest
Classical homeopathy works very well, as it resolves both the physical and emotional/mental aspects of the addiction permanently.
