Guest guest
I've been dx. with Syndrome X, told to follow the Sugar Buster diet. It works, when I am faithful. I've lost 30 pds. My question. I'm wondering if Splenda would be ok as a sweetner, but what stops me is the fact it's derived from sugar, which is a major no-no. What I've been doing, is using Sweet n Low to sweeten mint tea. However, I am using like 3 TBS to a pitcher. How toxic is this? Is this killing my liver? I also have been dx. with Fatty Liver. Plus I had a TIA in May. Have plaque in the blood vessels of my brain, near the brain stem, left side. When I saw the MRA results, I was shocked by the marked difference in the size of my arteries. It looked like someone grabbed a hand full of spaghetti and squashed it. The labs show I was at high risk for a stroke, heart attack & death. I told the Neurologist i did not want to take any RXes for this, so I take a 81mg baby asprin at night. Was advised to walk 30 min. a day, 3 times a week. I can't get started, or if I do get started, i don't follow thru. My bad. My question: What part of the brain did the left side, next to the brain stem affect? What bodily functions? The right side arteries are wide open, but midway there is a loop. What, if any would a stroke affect? I've had a Visco memory foam mattress for a couple years. It's crumbling. Is it emitting harmful invisable/undetectable fumes? It's also losing it's effectiveness in that it isn't as comfortable as when it was new. I have Fibromyalgia, plus herniated disc's at L5, L4, S 1 & S 3, bone spurs on my spine, and basically this has been the only mattress I've ever have gotten any valuable sleep on. I tried the number bed, but that was of no relief. Am I poisoning myself? Do you think a thick mattress pad would be barrier enough? A comment on H1N1. When I asked my primary care doctor about getting the H1N1 vaccine, he said he wasn't even taking it. Not enough research on it. I'm wondering if this isn't Big Brother's attempt at chipping the masses. Thanks y'all. Magnolia

Guest guest
Sometimes stevia has a licorice-like taste that may be objectionable. Xylitol may bea good solution but you have to limit it to two tsp twice daily to avoid loose stools--- On Mon, 12/7/09, Jane MacRoss <highfield1 wrote: Jane MacRoss <highfield1Re: Syndrome X, H1N1, Visco Mattress, TIA Date: Monday, December 7, 2009, 12:51 AM What is wrong with using Stevia?Jane- "Magnolia" <magnoliarouge47Monday, December 07, 2009 4:46 PM Syndrome X, H1N1, Visco Mattress, TIAI've been dx. with Syndrome X, told to follow the Sugar Buster diet.It works, when I am faithful.
