Dr Juan Manuel Aparicio Rodriguez, pediatric geneticist at Nino

Poblano hospital said to students of the University of the Americas

in Puebla, that products 'light' that contain aspartame can produce

more than 200 diverse illnesses: Brain tumors, fatigue, migraines,

depression, arthritis, sclerosis, epilepsy, thyroid trouble and brain

hemorrhage, to name a few.

 

He said during the talk that aspartame diminishes carbohydrates in

the body and produces more serotonin, which makes you crave more

sweets. An Italian study found it produces cancer and an American

colleague says it causes multiple sclerosis.
