My wife has been diagnosed with mastatic liver cancer two months now and chemo

is not working on slowing the tumors. The original cancer started in duedonal.

They have advised to stop the chemo and look into a trial at the local

University of Colorado. Do you have any thoughts

on any kind of natural therapy. I have read about asparagus juice and

accu-punture? Anything would be better than giving up. I live in the

Denver metro area.

So sorry to hear of your plight, and I understand that time might be

of the essence.

I attach a book by Bill Henderson which might be helpful towards

finding the right path for your wife to follow to overcome the cancer.

In the meantime, I will do a few more archive searches and dig up

information regarding treating liver cancer.

There must be a way to overcome this!!

Dear Randolph,

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife's illness.

While there's no magic bullet when it comes to recovering from cancer, the good

news is that our bodies do in fact have an amazing capacity to heal themselves,

if given the opportunity. A comprehensive approach to recovery which focuses on

a diet comprised of extremely nourishing foods and supplements, combined with an

ongoing program of detoxification, can be especially beneficial and efficacious

for anyone suffering from any kind of chronic degenerative disease.

One of the main underlying causes that can contribute to the onset of cancer is

poor nutrition. So if your wife wants to help herself heal naturally, one of

the most important steps she must take is to start consuming the most nutrient

dense, nutritious food and supplementation possible. Consuming the highest

quality nourishment is one of the most important things she can do to support

her body's own innate ability to repair, restore and heal itself.

One of the other major causes of cancer is internal toxicity. So in order to

give herself the best chance of healing naturally she also needs to start the

process of detoxifying her body of all the poisonous drugs (chemo etc) that have

been put into it, as well as any other environmental contaminants she may be

harboring in her tissues.

Here's a link to a website that explains in more detail how the increasing

burden of internal toxicity is detrimentally affecting the good health of us

all:

http://www.chemicalbodyburden.org/

In this same vein, besides detoxing internally it's also vital that you and your

wife take stock of all the household chemicals and cleaning products you have

around your home. It's really important for you to get rid of any that have

unpronounceable ingredients, and switch to less toxic alternatives. The same

goes for any personal products your wife uses that come into direct contact with

her body, such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, deodorants, antiperspirants,

mouthwashes, toothpastes, lotions, creams, and make up etc. She should ditch

any products containing potentially harmful chemicals and seek out the purest,

cleanest, non toxic alternatives possible.

Besides superior nutrition and internal/external cleansing, plenty of sleep,

rest and relaxation are also vital to the healing process, because things like

ongoing fatigue and stress are often significant contributing factors in the

onset of any degenerative disease like cancer, and a lack of rest and too much

stress can prevent us from healing if we're ill.

And contrary to popular belief, spending time everyday with our bare face and

arms (and legs if possible) exposed to the sun's rays is very important, both to

maintain good health and to heal from any kind of illness. Statistics show that

many, many people who live north of Atlanta GA are deficient in vitamin D, which

is a vital nutrient the body produces whenever our skin is exposed to sunlight.

If your wife is unable for any reason to get 20 minutes or so of sunshine

exposure every day, she should seriously consider supplementing with vitamin D3

(cholecalciferol.) Vitacost has an excellent, inexpensive vitamin D3 product

for sale on their website here:

http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Vitamin-D-Drops-2000-IU

If you need more information about the best approaches to take in terms of

improving your wife's level of nourishment, feel free to ask here on the forum,

as there are many folks here who can help guide you in this area.

In terms of detoxification, there are many approaches your wife can take,

including doing things like coffee enemas, liver/gall bladder flushes, fresh raw

vegetable juicing, castor oil packs, dry skin brushing, clay, taken internally

and used externally in the form of baths and packs, activated charcoal slurries,

magnesium oxide or Homozon taken internally to cleanse the colon, and colon

hydrotherapy sessions.

Bodywork such as lymphatic drainage, massage, reflexology, acupuncture and

cranial sacral etc, can also be very beneficial for helping to support the

body's own healing wisdom.

You may also want to consider looking into the use of medicinal mushrooms, which

are being routinely used in places like Japan to treat cancer, as many of them,

particularly Reishi, have anti tumor properties. Medicinal mushrooms have a

powerful ability to modulate and encourage the proper functioning of the immune

system and to help the body adapt to and deal with stress. These special fungi

have been used by human beings for thousands of years all over the world, and

they're known to have some profound, and in many cases scientifically verified,

healing benefits.

Here are a few links to some articles on medicinal mushrooms:

Finally, it's important to bear in mind there is often a strong emotional

component involved when people are suffering from cancer, so any efforts your

wife can make in terms of seeking out emotional release of things like anger and

fear, along with working towards forgiveness in her heart of anyone by whom she

may have felt hurt or betrayed her in life, can be especially therapeutic and

beneficial.

My best wishes to both you and your wife for her recovery,

Elan

Alkalysing the body takes away all the malignancy.acid alkaline ratio should be 20:80 Even thoughts promote acidity so that also has to be taken care of.Chemos infact promote cancer. Wheat grass juice is good triphala makes the tumours vanish.

Whatever is written in the reply by Elan seems absolutely good. I always say remove all the toxins from the body and fill it with nutrients where will the ailment remain.
