My name is Dr Karena Burke, and I am currently working as a researcher at CQ University in Rockhampton. (Queensland Australia) I would like to ask for your participation in a study looking at the choices people make about the food they buy and eat. The main aim of the project is to find out the different types of pressures that are felt by different groups of people in choosing food that they consume themselves, and that they might provide for family members such as partners and children. You will be asked a range of questions about the things that influence the food you purchase, as well as how you cope with difficult life situations. I am also interested in the extra pressures felt by individuals who have a food allergy or a food intolerance, those who care for someone who does, and what types of food and/or substances (e.g. additives) people commonly respond to. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete, and upon entering the survey, you will be asked to set yourself a username and password. This is simply so you can stop the survey and re-enter it at a later point if required. This data will not be used to identify you in any way.The survey will remain open until Friday 16th October.
