Greetings Friends.

For anyone wishing to upgrade health, whether catastrophic or chronic, a gentle

entry point to deep major corrections needed in these times across all terrains

is application of what I've come to call Fundamental Materials, fulcrum of life

in all habitats, in our soil, inner & outer, our plants and in our pets and

other animals that live on those plants. Our topsoil is thin, and thin also is

our neuro-immunological & behavioral topsoil, not only thin but a bit dented by

let us say urban excess.

For breast cancer especially take note of Iodine and Magnesium, two endemic

deficiencies. (Get some selenium in there to support iodine assimilation

first.) As the Pipe-Carriers and Elders say, let us first acknowledge the Stone

People & the Fire, the minerals, the most subtle highest vibrating realm from

which all life emanates. In which some say God rests & dreams. Without them we

lose all dreams and become restless indeed. Guarding & tempering the

bio-assimilability & balance of minerals is a sacred task; we each work in our

own vessel, we share many others.

Google for the work of geochemist HD Foster & his free e-books in pdf on " What

Really Causes ... " .

Do some reading at www.mgwater.com/

Various mineral sources compiled by Barry Carter

with focus on safety & assimilability:

Among these vendors, there can be found some excellent basic reading on basic

materials at:

I particularly also like the product list, articles, archives & newsletters from

David Dartez at www.globallight.net/

In many of the mineral discussion groups there is a lot of enthusiasm. Please

have patience. There is also lucid record-keeping, documentation, instruction.

Many people experience a Return to Normalcy as an " altered state " -- which just

goes to show you how upsidedown we've been hung.

Dear Friends.

For a while now, I have under compulsion gathered lists & sources of what I

would consider " fundamental materials " for pet health & garden. Perhaps like

many of us. Perhaps like some of us, I feel a need to condense these notes &

lists into a proposed inventory of " preparedness information & materials " . What

could be greener, more upbeat -- more engaging & constructive? These lists are

never complete.

" Preparedness Buyers Clubs " are the natural emerging " detailers " to support &

serve any practitioner who espouses " preventive " or " complementary " medicine,

people like MD-educator Len Saputo of Walnut Creek (recently videoed on Real

News). Is it not yet time to undercut the ruinous mark-up of most

nutraceuticals? Never mind that drugs proliferate like weeds. More on this

later, beautifully rehashed below if I say so myself.

Who knows how long it will take for " common knowledge " to improve? Get private

coaching, either from trusted friends or from experts like Keith Smith (Keith

Smith's Herb Shop), Stephen Fowkes (CERI & SmartDrugs), Bill Sarill (Indigo

Family Healers). These wizards and others are available by phone. An tsunami

of cheerful competence & good sense arises.

More suitable now than " drugs " at the practitioner level is the teaching &

revival of traditional forgotten pet & garden, self- & -family care, fundamental

methods & materials. We are at a turbulent convergence of two great confusions,

weeds & drugs. Of these two absurdly undefined categories, the weeds are

gaining the beneficial upper hand. It's a silly seesaw in the first place.

Muddy waters roil.

Imagine. Let an entire set of useful materials be purchased at bulk by local

storehouse providing either shelf-sale or referral to mail-order direct access,

either way a better value both for storekeeper & for clients. (Remember the

AmWay garagefuls?) Take a look at pet-country, horse & herd country,

true-wealth country. Common usage could be greatly improved by myriad forgotten

superior safer more effective materials; many seeming old fashioned. Hooray for

activated charcoal, pet-grade Diatomaceous Earth, colloidal silver, Amantadine,

mustard plasters, icthammol ointment, coal tar & cabbage leaves. How on earth

did such materials fall into dis-use? These are skills of Basic Socializing.

Did we terminate the Basic Socializing?

For any individual, where tolerable, use of simplest & least expensive materials

would be the obvious starting-point. If the physiology is so denatured & immune

dys-response so complexified that simple materials are no longer tolerable (as

in food allergies for example) then make it a goal ... to regain & simplify

one's own health, escaping unnecessary complications in diagnosis, symptom or

treatment. (For me personally this translates pretty efficiently to Never Set

Foot in Walgreen's Again and reducing the presence of corporate sigils anywhere

in my personal space.)

Thoughts on Budgeting & Shelfspace & Transport Costs:

Limit purchase of higher priced items to those which are most effective. An

example, if I had only two essential oils, I'd use Lavender (relatively

inexpensive, works on most everything) & Helichrysm (expensive, perfect for

whatever nothing else works on). Between the Lavender & the Helichrysm, I'd

keep the rack minimal or empty, avoiding inventory-cost of working my way

through the mid-range array. If the Lavender doesn't suffice, reach right for

the Helichrysm. Sometimes it’s best to not postpone the best.

Work toward the intermediate-cost resource inventory only as required for pain

management, that's how I'd map it. & make it a priority in any

community-of-care to reduce pain to minimum at least cost. You'd think this'd

be obvious. I'm almost embarrassed to spell it out.

The frittering mid-range is fine if one has it on hand ... but my preferred two

acquisition principals are at two poles: most-effective (regardless of cost) &

lowest cost (if helpful at all or even just safe).

Let us name these pharmacological polarities: Power and Sweetness.

If it is not the Pearl of Great Price, then let it be free or cheap.

The sorcery I like least is the endless middlegame, a shellgame of mediocrity

between these two poles. Most pharmabiotech is nowadays elaborated in parallel

to the ridiculously elaborated diagnostic labyrinth of the branded medicine now

ascendant in global commerce. Most Magic Bullet Wonder Drugs fall into this

mid-range of limited use. There is very little left that is generally useful in

all conditions, or superbly useful in most. When did we let go of sense?

Why should I be bothered to acquire anything else when I may need only Two

Things? An exaggeration, but illustrative. On the one hand, I'd use the clays

& precipitates & fasting for foundation of an affordable supportive regime,

coupled with the other hand holding ... oh stuff like Transfer Factor, Poly-MVA,

Helichrysm essential oil. High end stuff. These certainly qualify as costly

examples, and they are actually helpful, not toxic. That's a wonder right

there. Maybe even slamdunk helpful. Maybe even actually sufficient, not just

necessary.

Point being that if prescription-medicine is " necessary " , it is only in the

sense that it is calculated never to be sufficient, it's designed that way. How

to escape these enchantments? Is there any alchemy that can help?

Fortunately I'm an amateur at this, so these examples are not definitive. My

view is more or less the Housekeeper’s View. Well okay the Concerned

Housekeeper’s View. My sleeves are care-raveled all right, but I hold no

license. I eat little & I sleep well.

Cheapest healing program of all is abstention. In fact it's proverbial among

concentration-camp survivors that the initial starvation alone commonly cured

chronic conditions.

As to restoring one's fundamental terrain, I would not recommend any action or

outlay whatsoever to someone who is not already abstaining from simple sugars.

Why would one wish to converse with anyone who is sugar-stoned & sugar-dulled

anyway? Were I mercifully inclined, I suppose I'd suggest licorice to be taken

in the mornings. The glycolized sugar-burned norm consists of most of us,

burnouts needing bootstrap ... licorice in the AM ... maybe it'll help postpone

the inevitable crash of this speeding sleigh-ride. Most of us are in this

pre-emergency state grazing at the length of a pegged rope anyway. Contented,

in circles.

The diabetics will have to find their own support group, there are already so

many. I like www.healingmatters.com for Type2. Type1 could check out Sergei

Boutenko’s rawfamily.com & the growing resources available for vaccinosis &

other miasms, perhaps Malcolm Smith & the younger Indian homeopaths.

Find a best friend or a private consultant like those mentioned or comparable.

These are the Helpful People who can coach one through reversal of more complex

chronicities, who can direct the supplement budget to best effect for a

particular individual at a particular time. & get some energy-elemental

coaching (I like Vedic astrologer Carrea Desai & Master Dowser Shirley Runco).

Find anyone who can help restore every child's Lost Heritage, at least in First

Cultures. Also recommended by SF Tesla Society favorite William Roulette Smith:

Medical school should start in kindergarten.

To best conserve the resources at hand, for best non-toxic least costly benefit

to the greatest number ... simple measures like abstaining from simple sugars,

internal cleansing within reason ... so many simple things, at no cost, any one

of them likely to clear up 90% of whatever is ailing 90% of us. Public health,

or intentional community, on whatever scale, triage & best use of scarce

resources requires an agreed-upon measure of shared prudence, no? I do not care

what you call it; a set of sacraments, a constitition, house rules ... whatever.

Inventory Tip: Permaculture Cult notwithstanding, Permaculture, like

Sustainability, is quintessentially Local. The inventory-channels & supply

lines of which we may dream will of course vary hugely with the locus of the

buyer-provider population.

When farmer-MDs like Lynn August educate on uses of clay & salt & repopulation

of subsoil microbes & fungi, surely we may re-learn -- as a matter of private &

domestic common sense, as a matter of public policy & community health -- we may

re-learn that, wonder of wonders, we are not inherently

drug-or-fertilizer-deficient.

I must remember to make sure that my garden is never deficient in useful weeds,

however.

Preparedness Buyers Clubs underwhatevername are obviously a part of community

greening ... in the most useful way possible, with beneficial impact on one's

health & family, where results are first-hand, close-up, obvious. Where the

senses are engaged, at the level of garden, pantry, sink & bath, the " consumer "

is less likely to fall prey to enchantment. Above all in the garden. For those

already overtaken by the pervasive trance of barstool or tv-screen ... there's

still a chance of breaking the spell -- especially if the indigestion, the

insomnia become sufficiently insistent. After the commercials, remember to pull

out the spellbreakers & noisemakers. Rompe maldicion. Re-member. Collect

yourself.

Why not risk it? Why not risk coming to recollection of soil & sense & sheer

Presence of the Material World, remembrance of what food is and what in us is

nourished by it? For me at the end of this long journey it has come to a

remembrance of minerals. If I am not in fact at this journey's end, if truly I

am simply lost in a dark wood, well then, my minerals may guard & guide me well.

My own no longer purely private concerns compel an interest in the

assimilability & bio-availability of minerals across environment & food chain.

Speaking for myself, I do tend to see the long chain of contributors, mentors &

participants in the ORMUS communities as working with a trust that has worked

well for those who've participated.

Never would I prefer the Walgreen's dispensary altar, with its little bell &

fascinating shelves behind glass. At this worship-vault, there's where the

consumer is soaked helpless by sheer mediocrity, swamped in the plethora of

mid-range materials, neither fundamental nor superb. Every year, the US

official Pharmacopeia de-lists materials of value (with their track records of

proven sufficiency) & acquires material of less value (necessary & " effective "

by the most meagre of standards, " effective " real meaning Guaranteed Never to

Suffice).

That's the whole idea. The unspoken research & discovery standard, the

governing rule of inventory acquisition in globally dominant retail pharmacology

is apparently, colorably, arguably, provably & damnably demonstrably, to avoid

any material whatsoever that may prove sufficient, to stock only those materials

that are forever necessary because they are Known Never To Suffice. Capiche?

" Known never to suffice " . That is the standard of contemporary pharmacology.

We pretend we do no harm; in reality we do no good.

Failure to do Good is Harm.

By contrast, I do like the spirit of the compounder at

www.skipspharmacy.com/costume.shtml

Funny music too.

A different kind of window here.

Remember back when, not so long ago, the older still-dignified pharma-detailers

announced themselves as representing So & So Ethical Pharmaceuticals? No more,

not for decades now, not even in name, has there been a claim to the title

" ethical pharmaceuticals " . As for most nutraceuticals, no matter how impeccable

the ingredients, as a category the cost is unconscionable.

A re-won familiarity with older materials now in dis-use (carefully chosen of

course not to waste the hindsight) re-skills our own hands. Conversely of

course, a sense of empty-handedness may return us to study & remembrance of

materials. Time beats at our heels, don't you feel? Perhaps some winged

chariot will land, sweet cargo to ground (3-5 most important clays? iodine

soluents -- solid-state sodium & potassium?). The materials we choose & shape,

they shape & choose us too.

Go, keep ears to the ground, the discussions clustering online around LDN, DMSO,

MMS, eytonsearth, earthclinic, curezone, shirleyswellnesscafe and it goes

without saying pretty much anything under the rubric " ORMUS " . In all these

groups, many adjunct methods & materials are discussed; they are a mine of

naturapathic lore ... a heartening reclamation of Goethean or biodynamic

sciences. Scratch that. A reclamation of some kinda

scalar-sovereign-super-semi-conductive-sufficiency is probably what I mean more

plainly.

Explore the wealth of generosity & goodwill that awaits not only here at

. Try also the merest gurgling Google upon ... almost

anything, from radionics to ritual, devices or deviceless, empty-handed or

intended, McTaggart, Groening, Tom Tam at Tong Ren, Mae-Won Ho at i-SIS. & the

multitudes of older traditions; seek their wisdom-holders.

For now for myself I still seek a preparedness buyers group, local or

cyberlocal. Storehouse & granary can hardly be any fuller than the lit lamp.

How high can we hold it?

With best wishes,

mgw
