Guest guest
H.R. 3200 To provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes. One question...Let's just start with the title: I get the desire for quality health care for all Americans.....but why are illigal immigrants included in this plan? And another.....just in the title: How can this bill reduce the cost of health care spending when it will ADD 40+ million people to the government plan (Medicaid/Medicare) and cover more procedures? And that doesn't include all of the people who will end up losing their private health insurance (See Page 16) who be required to opt into the public plan. Obama told us - 70% of Americans like their health care plans so why not just provide a public plan for the uninsured? Duh! Oh, I forgot...if we are going to be equal then we have to " bend the curve " ....interesting how they play those words, isn't it. Using their own body language (Hand curving down) and in plain English: Lower the standards for ALL Americans. Last question - about the just the TITLE of the bill: what is.... " for other purposes " ? Our Congressmen are going to try to pass a bill they haven't even read (guaranteed to have amendments that they will not have read) and we do not even know the full purpose or impact this will have on not only our health care but on our basic freedoms!?! And we haven't even started with page 1! We're going to NEED a doctor! Write to your congressman TODAY and tell them in no uncertain terms to vote NO on this bill.....and then pay attention: Education is next on the agenda. And what about Cap and Trade? Who gave the government ownership of the air I breathe and my space on this planet? Or yours? Or your neighbors? Or Walmart's? Or anyone's! They might have the right to regulate (in the US) what is put into the air but they do not OWN the air and thus cannot sell it or trade it. How arrogant!
