Guest guest
and it's just a baby!!! don't know what will happen when mama comes around later in the cycle....hoooweeee.... http://www.n3kl.org/sun/images/noaa_xrays.gif? http://www.spaceweather.com/ SUDDEN SUPER SUNSPOT: Sunspot 1024 is crackling with B- and C-class solar flares. The activity is so intense, astronomers can't seem to take a picture of the sunspot without catching a flare in action. Pete Lawrence sends this example from his backyard observatory in Selsey, UK: "Active region 1024 is putting on a fantastic show," says Lawrence. "The center of this region is incredibly bright and fluctuating." Solar observers haven't seen an active region like this one in more than two years. It is big, complex, and rapidly growing: movie. The magnetic polarity of the sunspot, revealed by SOHO magnetograms, show that it is a member of new Solar Cycle 24. This makes sense: New research shows that solar jet streams are beginning to stimulate new-cycle sunspot production. Sunspot 1024 appears to be a sign of the process at work, heralding more to come. Monitoring is encouraged. *********************** http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2009/wadenhill2/wadenhill2009b.html Image Olivier Morel (WCCSG) Copyright 2009 Disclaimer.Given the wide variety of interpretations of any given Crop formation, please note that the opinions published by the individual contributors to this site do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Crop Circle Connector. Guest guest
It is good news that our sun is getting active again after such a long drought of flares and such a low level of solar winds and radiation. If it had stayed quiet for much longer we would be freezing to death. However, it takes two years to feel the full effect as the radiation belt that blocks cosmic rays extends out to just past Saturn, so we will be feeling the effects of the quiet time for the next two years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependency back again into bondage. --Sir Alex Fraser Tyler: (1742-1813) Scottish jurist and historian
