Last year, you and 14,460 other people submitted a comment through The Heritage Foundation’s website to the Environmental Protection Agency, asking it not to move forward with carbon dioxide regulations. And your involvement worked—the Bush Administration did not formalize the regulations. But now we have a new Administration, and we need your help again.On April 17, the Obama Administration issued a ruling which states that global warming poses a serious threat to public health and safety. This “endangerment finding” gives the Environmental Protection Agency authority to put forth the regulations we told you about last fall. Almost anything that emits carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases would be regulated—from cars to power plants to apartment buildings. These forthcoming regulations will impose a massive energy tax that will, at best, result in a change in the Earth's temperature too small to ever notice. We need you to help us speak out against this ruling.
