Guest guest
Here is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen Not only is the movie "Home" the most stunning cinematography I have seen, its message is deeply disturbing. There are simply far too many people on this planet and we are heading for Hell in a handbasket. There is reference in the movie about the potential catastrophe of melting of the Siberian permafrost. I fear their concerns are an understatement: Warming of the permafrost will release massive volumes of methane. The way things are going this melt could happen within a matter of years, rather than decades. When the permafrost melts, we will have Global Warming on Steroids! Guest guest
A review of the movie HOME Propaganda at a very sophisticated level – one of the biggest global corporations that exploited the rain forests for timber for the last fifty years wants us to help them stop global warming. A beautifully produced and charming movie with outstanding film work, music and graphics through out the entire film. Some of the scenes and the music are remarkable well done. After one hour of defining the state of our planet earth, it drops the political shoe and starts to talk about global warming, and not more than another three minutes after explaining that the planet is heating up fast and getting warmer, they say “humanity has never lived in an atmosphere like this – (which is NOT true as anyone who can read history knows our planet has been warmer in the past than it is today) The movie completely ignores any of the 650 plus scientists who have said for years our planet has been warming not by CO2 emissions but by the activity of the Sun and cosmic radiation. In fact, the last year and one half has seen average temperatures across the globe falling making these scientists right. In the next few years, if this trend continues, and since solar flares and radiation have been at an all time low for six months now the trend should and will continue. Then there are two many false statements, all the same stuff put out by those big companies that want to trade in carbon credits. An example Greenland’s ice contains 20% of the earth’s fresh water – if it melts ….sea levels will rise by over seven meters. Fact: Eighty percent of the earth’s fresh water is contained in the vast Antarctic ice cap, which is growing and expanding every year, NOT MELTING. The Antarctic was not even mentioned in this film. This film is a very well done major piece of propaganda to keep the global warming fraud moving in the direction the big corporations want. The biggest piece of evidence is to look at where the money came from to pay for this very expensive and beautiful film. The film was entirely financed by the PPR Group a giant French conglomerate. In 1963, PPR started business in the global timber markets. Does timber from the rain forests ring any bells? PPR exploited the world wide timber markets for the next 50 years cutting down millions of trees, until the company started to diversify after 25 years and now is also in luxury goods, household furniture and finance. So why would they now make such a film explaining how the cutting of all the forests is the cause of global warming? 1996 - Acquisition by CFAO, part of PPR Group, of SCOA, the leading pharmaceutical distributor in West Africa through its subsidiary Eurapharma. So a company cutting, processing and selling timber, selling and exploiting pharmaceuticals into Africa, wants us to get on their band wagon about Global Warming.
