More On Comparative Effectiveness Research

I took the following paragraph from the government website

http://www.hhs.gov/recovery/contacts/index.html using cut and paste:

The 15 member Council, named today in accordance with a Congressionally-mandate

timeline, will assist the agencies of the Federal government, including HHS and

the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense, as well as others, to

coordinate comparative effectiveness and related health services research. The

Recovery Act authorized $300 million for the Agency for Healthcare Research and

Quality, $400 million for the National Institutes of Health, and $400 million

for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to support comparative

effectiveness research.

I see this move by the Obama team as being the first step to help us, and one

that is already passed into law.

Why not take advantage now of the 1.1 Billion already earmarked by Obama that is

being directed towards looking at change? What would be the point of waiting?

" Comparative effectiveness research " is looking at change... there is no other

way to read this, in my opinion. It appears that 400 million of the total 1.1

billion dollar effort reflected in the copy above is earmarked specifically for

this " comparative effectiveness research " .

It is a fact that alternative medicine has had a research budget of nearly zero

for decades. Even if only a small portion of the 400 million being spent is

directed at comparing " alternative medical treatment effectiveness " vs. " drug

intervention treatment effectiveness " for a similar illness this is a big win

for alternative medicine, if not a HUGE one.

Sure, the system has been totally corrupt for some time. And sure, this

corruption goes to the very top of the FDA, with their ridiculous law of " only a

drug can diagnose, prevent, cure, or treat " ANY disease.

The only way that the rampant corruption of the FDA can be stopped is from the

very top... from the President himself. This is because the President controls

the Executive Branch of our government, and the FDA is a agency of this

Executive Branch.

THE FDA IS NEVER GOING TO CHANGE ON ITS OWN, due to the fact that Big Pharma's

influence in this agency is far too deep. The FDA would ignore the wisdom of

alternative medicine forever, if it could. However, the FDA has to answer to

President Obama. It cannot ignore him, or what he has to say.

It is a fact that those doing the budgeting in our federal government know that

health care costs are breaking the back of this country, and that the projected

rise in health care costs is unsustainable. We are simply going broke supporting

Big Pharma's and Big Medicine's many lies... to say nothing of the damage to the

public's health. (I think this is why Obama has directed this 1.1 billion

towards looking at change.)

Conclusion

I think that the time to act is NOW, not later. Anyone whom has recovered using

alternative medical means, and has found these means more effective that

pharmaceutical drugs, has a chance to voice their opinion and to be heard.

There is power in numbers... the more persons that report their alternative

medical recovery stories, or put pro-alt-med comments on the website

http://www.hhs.gov/recovery/contacts/index.html the better. (This site asks for

either comments or recovery stories.)

I think that we should at least give Obama a chance to help us... and " silence

by us " at the current time is not giving him a chance.

Obama is a puppet on a string. He doesn't really control much of anything

because he's just a tool whose actions are directed and controlled by his

handlers.

He's merely a pawn of the unimaginably wealthy global elite who own and run huge

financial institutions like the Federal Reserve, IMF and the World Bank. He

answers to these banksters, as well as those ultra-rich who own powerful

multinational conglomerates, for instance the petrochemical agri-giants

Monsanto, Dow, Dupont and Cargill - companies that manufacture and sell all

kinds of poisonous chemicals which permeate our lives and are sprayed on our

food and make us sick. If you follow the money, you'll find that many of these

same polluting companies are also heavily invested in pharmaceuticals. It's

just one big racket. They sicken the unsuspecting masses with sales of their

poisons, and then make even more money peddling their toxic drugs, which at best

only ever mask symptoms and at worst cause iatrogenic illness and death, while

doing nothing whatsoever to address the root causes of the epidemic of chronic

disease occurring across the globe.

Big pharma executives take turns going through the revolving door of policy

creating government agencies like the FDA, while big agra execs do the same in

places like the EPA.

This is just one small example of the kind of corporate influence that steers

our government. The truth is that the biggest governments on the planet aren't

run for, by or on behalf of the people at all. Rather they're controlled by the

corporate and financial interests of a handful of families who are so wealthy

they make Bill Gates look like a pauper, and who thirst not so much for money

anymore, but rather for power over the masses and control over the natural

resources of the planet.

Most people don't understand that in the grand scheme of things Obama and Bush

both answer to and work for the same small group of power mongers. The whole

two party election thing is a big scam. Obama may seem like a kindler, gentler

and smarter fellow than Bush, but regardless, comparing the two is really just a

political version of good cop/bad cop. They both work on behalf of the same

bosses who sit at the very top of this pyramid scheme, and they both are in

essence following the very same agenda. Neither of them are working for the

American people. Rather they're working for the money masters who also by the

way, control all the major mainstream media outlets, and ensure their propaganda

is regularly broadcast to the masses to make people think Obama's a good,

honest, trustworthy guy who's really gonna CHANGE things for and on behalf of us

people in a meaningful way.

Do yourself a favor, Allen. Turn off your TV and quit taking the blue pill.

The only way things can or will ever truly change on this planet won't be due to

anything that comes from the top of any government, because the higher up in

this pyramid scheme you go, the more corruption there is. Rather it will come

from a collective awakening and shift in consciousness among the masses way down

on the bottom of the pyramid, from those whose somnambulatory compliance

currently supports the whole corrupt structure from the ground up.

Elan:I totally agree with your entire post. I don't trust the Govt to do anything. The top control does have a name, it is called the Bilderberg group, of course all major pharmaceutical companies CEO's are part of this group as well as the top bankers, etc.

As for more money to do comparative research, just another scam. I can tell you right now without any money sent to me, what the results already are: " After concluding our study we have determined that there is no definitive proof that any alternative protocols have any effect on a persons health " and this statement will be issued from the final conference of the panel which included major health professionals, all graduates of the big prestigious Big Pharma run medical schools which took place in Hawaii and is the summary of the two week long final conference on the subject.

So any information sent to them by well meaning natural practitioners will be cataloged and put on the list to be sent to the giant PR agencies to develop counter measures for. I totally and vehemently disagree with this statement;

You either are naive and new to this business or you are a shill already working for one of these big PR firms that will receive the bulk of this money and you are putting out these posts to suck us all in. The only change, for you folks that don't study history, comes from the bottom up. It is called revolution. When the Governments of the world become to oppressive, such as excess taxes and minute control of its citizens lives right down to when we eat, get vaccinated, etc., then the people finally have had enough and they revolt. One of the last big revolts was when a group of treasonous revolutionaries defied their government, said they had enough of paying unfair taxes and wanted more freedom, wrote the declaration of independence, John Hancock signed huge, professing to be hanged if they didn't get their freedom, along with Thomas Jefferson and the others.

Governments have throughout history, worked very hard to control their subjects. Creating religion and God has been the most successful thus far. Now that religion is falling apart, as folks figure out the planet is billions of years old instead of a few thousand and Adam and Eve were not the first dwellers, then the rulers need new and better methods of keeping their subjects sedate and thinking they are happy, so they will work hard and shut up. Drugs are the best new religion. Any alternative natural herb that shows it brings humans alive, keeps their brains in tact and helps them to think and keeps them healthy like Marijuana, Pau d arco, Saw palmetto, the rich berry oils etc., are immediately made illegal and millions are spent to push out negative propaganda on them.
