A cool post from another group:

(Kind of goes with the "LITTLE Things" poem..)

********

There will be times, in all days to come, when absolutely nothinggoes as you would have it go. Obstacles to your progress will loombefore you as tall and forbearing as the Himalayas and valleys of despair

will spread before you as far as you can see on every side.

And still at other times, you, yourself can know only bliss.

Your relationships, your finances and your health will all flourish

and you will consider yourself to be abundantly blessed.

And in the midst of each and every one of these times of both good fortune

and bad, there is only one thing of which you can be utterly certain:

This, too, shall pass.In his book, "Change Your Thoughts ,Change Your Life," author Dr.Wayne Dyer writes, "Like most humans, you probably want yoursurroundings to be permanent, steady,reliable, secure and predictable. However, your realityunequivocally insists that you take into account the opposite andunpredictable that are present in every experienceyou have. After all, even the landscape that surrounds you is farfrom orderly: Mountain ranges go up and then down into valleys.Trees tower over shrubs and cloud formations are ominously black

at times and fluffy white at others.In every perfectly sunny day, there's a storm hiding, and in everyrainstorm there's a drought waiting its turn...

Change your view of the peaks and valleys of all of life toan attitude that allows you to discover what's hidden in both ofthose experiences.

Begin to see wholeness, rather than good or bad fortune.

Condition yourself to See opposites as parts of oneness,rather than disrupting surprises... What you are calling 'bad'fortune has 'good' just waiting to emergebecause it is the other half."When we become true Dispatchers of Blessing, it isn't so much that wechange as that we better adapt to the constant change alreadyoccurring. Life is forever in motion, after all, never stopping,never resting, always moving. As Einstein pointed out, "Nothinghappens until something moves, " and in the context of our livessomething is always happening. Even when it appears to be, onemoment is never exactly the same as the moment before, and in theflow of life, peaks and valleys and all levels in between are thenorm. Life, even an abundantly blessed one, does not flow down astream that is straight and narrow and forever perfect. The streamof life twists and turns in often unexpected fashion, and in

onemoment may appear on the surface to be still and calm, while thenext will find it churning and rolling in the most wild and rapidway.And in all these changes taking place, we are always given achoice. When life does not follow the straight and narrow stream wewould have it follow, we can choose to blame and project anger,making someone or something else the villian. Or we can rememberthat a thing is only "evil" or "bad" because thinking has made itso, and choose to think again.. We can always, always, alwaysremind ourselves that whatever we are currently experiencing isonly the scenery of life, and just as scenery along any highwaywill change, this, too, shall pass. We can, as Dr. Dyer suggests,choose to see wholeness in the place of good or bad fortune. Andwhen we allow this to be our choice, our acceptance becomes ablessing to each person, each place and each circumstance

weencounter.Today's exercise:Spend the day noticing change. Notice how easily one experiencefades into another. Just watch life changing around you, observingthe changes without judgment, as coolly and calmly as you mightwatch tufts of clouds passing through the sky on a warm andbeautiful day. By doing this for a time each day, you willgradually train yourself to observe all of life the same way,without judgment and without concern. And in this way, all of lifeis blessed and is becomes a blessing.Today's affirmation:"With every change I find a blessing. "Today's quote:"Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot changetheir minds cannot change anything."-- George Bernard Shaw"See" you in the next lesson and until then

remember, it is ALWAYSBETTER TO BLESS.May you Always be so Blessed, With Enough to Spare;

That You may Always Be so Blessed with Enough to Share;
