Banks raising their interest rates on credit cards , watch out for this ! (It just happened to us. )

I've read about it in the paper, seen it in the news, and was warned by our financial advisor , and today, it happened , so I wanted to warn everyone, in case you're not aware what the banks/credit card companies are doing now to our credit cards ! Our credit card with the highest amount charged on it went way up ! I got a notice in today's mail that the interest went up on our Capitol One Visa card from 7 % to 17 % !!!!! There is an opt out , if you call the number included , which I did ; you can cancel your card, and all of the amount you still owe will stay at the same interest rate until you pay it off . I'm concerned now that all the others will follow suit unless things are stopped soon . (President Obama is signing into law by Friday something to stop the corrupt credit card companies from jacking up the interest rates .)
