Guest guest
Dear Margaret: Interestingly, I received your post yesterday just before a visit from a friend. She said, " Betty, have you ever heard of anyone with rheumatoid arthritis where its so severe and life-threatening the lungs are affected? A friend takes so many steroids and drugs and it just gets worse. Nobody knows what to do. " I replied, " Sure, if the person is using aspartame. " She said, " But he doesn't drink Diet Coke " . I continued to question her and explained that aspartame is in 10, 000 products today at least and may even be in his drugs. Finally she said, " The only thing he drinks all day is Crystal Lite " . Bingo! I also told her there is the case in Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, the aspartame documentary, www.soundandfury.tv where Cheryl Kemptner was admitted to the hospital where she told officials she could not be given aspartame and even had a " no aspartame " bracelet. " They promised her she would not get it. She was given lemonade and sure enough it was Crystal Lite. She became a Code Blue and nearly lost her life. Aspartame is so poisonous that it causes chemical hypersensitization. So when you get off of it and get well, and then accidently get it by accident you can have an immediate severe reaction. You found that out as you mention below having used it again and having an immediate reaction. That's why we are trying so hard to get it banned. For the rest of your life you must never again used processed foods, especially anything that says artificial or natural flavors. Like Dr. Roberts says, author of the medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com " When in doubt throw it out " . There is a chapter on aspartame and joint pain and here is one of his reports on the subject: http://www.dorway.com/betty/jointpan.txt Some Rx for joint pain even contains aspartame. A pharmacist handed me a packet of glucosamine and chondroitin that had it in it. Today you must become a label reader if you want to live. I did give your post to my friend, Jane, hoping it will serve as encouragement for her friend to get off of aspartame products to stop the suffering and anguish, as well as a copy of the Artificially Sweetened Times, a 24 page booklet we give out on aspartame. You can get 100 or more from the Idaho-Observer at www.idaho-observer.com They are much better than flyers because they have more information and are kept current. I'm going to send you in another email a copy of the detox formula by Dr. Blaylock as well other resources, books and information. There is a safe sweetener called Just Like Sugar which is in most Whole Foods or you can get it on line. It's just chicory and orange peel, Vitamin C and Calcium. As a nurse you really need all the resources. For instance, in the medical text you will find out that aspartame interacts with virtually all drugs. It damages the mitochondria. Dr. Roberts has a chapter on it and gives the reasons it interacts and mentions some medications in particular that react like Dilantin, Coumadin, etc. Some of the most damning studies are the Ramazzini Studies showing aspartame to be a multipotential carcinogen and the Trocho Study which shows the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA. Reminds me that my husband and I was talking to a man about aspartame, and I gave him the Artificially Sweetened Times and several different articles. Everytime I gave him something he said, " I know about this already " . Finally he says " I know a lot more about aspartame than you do. " So I asked him how he knew so much. When you think of aspartame the government agency you think of is FDA. However, he said he worked for EPA, and he's a pathologist. He told them: " How can it be on the market killing so many people. " He was told, " FDA will surely have to take it off the market soon. " Then he advised me how many years ago that was with nothing being done. I've been meaning to call him and ask him what all his duties were. He must have worked on the bodies of aspartame victims. Since you are a nurse I would suggest you go to www.mpwhi.com, scroll down to banners and to the Aspartame Information List, so you can continue to get information and save patients. All my best, Betty www.mpwhi.com, www.dorway.com and www.wnho.net Aspartame Toxicity Center, www.holisticmed.com/aspartame At 01:54 PM 5/13/2009, Margaret Thompson wrote: >Dr. Martini, > I am an RN (B.S.N) in Alabama.
