Guest guest
Frances you have to have faith in / trust of your medical team. Osteoporosis is seemingly diagnosed by use of Bone Density Imaging I think personally I would be asking for this to be done, before 'discussing' any proposed treatments. I am doing some reading currently on the necessity of Vitamin K2 Lack of Vitamin K2 causes calcium to fail to be deposited in bones where it belongs and to be deposited instead in arteries, aorta, soft tissues including muscle, breast, kidneys and in heel spurs. http://www.newswithviews.com/Howenstine/james59.htm ( a credible source of information) I am still looking at that drug you asked about..... will get back if etc.......... But with what we have all discovered regarding drug dangers I too would be very reticent to start another 'life long' medication when there are more natural alternatives available, with less / far less side effects. Get a diagnosis before you start another drug is my own personal opinion. You need vitamin D, unless you are a sun person .... even then are you getting sufficient exposure...... thems my thoughts? When did you have the last D blood test? Clare in Tassie
