Passing this along. FYI

The anthropological record of early man clearly shows health took a nosedive when populations made the switch from hunting and gathering to agriculture. It takes a physical anthropologist about two seconds to look at a skeleton unearthed from an archeological site to tell if the owner of that skeleton was a hunter-gatherer or an agriculturist.

While I don't disagree with this "concepr", I don't believe strong bones as viewed by an archeologist "clearly" translates directly into a strong constitution or immune system. Nor does it have anything to do with life expectancy or general health.

However, there are many indications that the life expectancy of humans inflicted with the modern diet will soon become shortened. Most of my unhealthy clients are vegetarians. This is not because of their diet but because they are not eating healthy organic foods and their proteins are not properly balanced. Their low stomach acid production tends to make them susceptible to more infections and their reduced B12 status leads to more neurological problems.

These observations are purely backed by personal experience and study, so I cannot quote scientific studies and statistics to back them.
