I'm sure many of you have seen TV's show 'Suvivorman.' Where Les Stroud takes you from the highs of the Alpine winter mountains to the raging heat of the Gobi desert. Then he shows you how to survive in either clime.

Anyway, back to why I am in love with Les Stroud. I found these wonderful video's of Les and his adorable family. They were leaving the burbs and moving to the wilds of Canada.. going off the grid. Hopefully, permanently. During this series, he showed the trials and tribulations of doing this. All of it. The end result was fantastic!
