Reading the article thanks for the link

Just wanted to mention (cannot find the source now - sorry) I read something recently about humans and water consumption..... that said to look at animals, dogs, cats, horses, cows etc etc etc. and see how they drink water. Seems to be ONLY to quench thirst and no need seems to be shown to 'flush' or tank up etc......

Wonder why?

Just curious

A friend once said to me that anything at all added to water is not recognized by the body as water but as food - I wouldn't add anything myself - but thanks for inspiring me to look this up I reckon the implications are amazing

Without trying the drinking 3 x 160mL water on an empty stomach on rising and observing the changes if any, there is really no point on commenting on what animals drink, on adding lemon or lemon and honey as far as I can see, the treatment offered and the results mentioned can be assessed by interested people or not assessed - if I try it then I can tell you if I get any results - if anyone else feels like trying it then we would all be interested in the results - the impact on the body and on a disease state, would depend entirely on what problems that individual suffers and those problems can relate to a multitude of causes, including hereditary causes, genetic causes, psychological causes, environmental causes, these including medical and surgical history, dietary history, etc etc

Reading what is described as a successful technique - and a very cheap one - for possibly curing a host of complaints - should be tried as described. Any changes and or any comparisons to a totally different set of circumstances negates results of that test.

Re the animal comment---animals don't do the foolish things to themselves that we humans do---so maybe they don't need to flush as much. Agreed about the water only for experiment---would like to hear folks' results. We should keep track of this...at least it's a source least likely to be regulated--well so far anyway...

Yes, its certainly interesting - lets hope we have decent water to try it with too - oh and the ability to go to bed so we can get up in the morning to try it - something seems to have happened to my time clock here - after 1 a.m. and wondering if its too late for dinner!

Your friend is right. BUT water is a food solvent and the water we evolved on was loaded with minerals and organic matter. If you drink distilled water it will remove food and toxins from the body and will allow very little absorption. Adding lemon to water just makes that water more biologically active and more nourishing.

The way I use water is to drink reverse osmosis or distilled water as a flush first thing on arising. Adding lemon to it will acidufy the kidneys and bladder for a better flush of toxins. The rest of the day I use highly charged (mineralized) water for cellular absorption of nutrients. Adding lemon to this water improves mineral uptake into the cells..

In summary, lemons are a gift of nature (God). They make everything better except to the very few who are intolerant to citrus.

Dear Jane

I take two glass of plain water and thereafter one glass of

warm or little hot water in which a teaspoonful of honey and a lemon.

This I am doing it for more than 30 years and I have never

fever. This also comes under the category of antioxidant.

thanks for comments

Only in Australia, where sometimes if we're lucky the lemons come already peeled on the trees - yep possums love the peel - I understand lemon juice in US come from a bottle and milk too with pus and chemicals added - here we can get organic and also raw milk - if we want it.

Jane,

Raw milk and organic milk are available in the USA in many places. Cost is generally 3 times that of "regular" milk.

A friend once said to me that anything at all added to water is not recognized by the body as water but as food - I wouldn't add anything myself - but thanks for inspiring me to look this up I reckon the implications are amazing

Slight correction re raw milk in Australia. You have to really look

around, search for it because officially it is not allowed to sell

raw milk.

Raw organic goats milk, yes, but not cows milk.

Jane,

Only in Australia, where sometimes if we're

lucky the lemons come already peeled on the trees - yep possums love the

peel - I understand lemon juice in US come from a bottle and milk too

with pus and chemicals added - here we can get organic and also raw milk

- if we want it.
