Ive had varicose veins since I was a teen. It started with 1 purple vein about half an inch long and as the years went by and I had children they grew worse. They became huge and lumpy and like knotted ropes running up my calves and thighs. They were dark purple in places and some just had hundreds of tiny fine spider veins. Those were mostly on my ankles and feet. But some on calves near knees as well. I stopped wearing dresses or shorts in my forty’s – 25 years ago, because my legs were SO unsightly. I have worn only pants or pants suits because I couldn’t stand to look at them myself and sure didn’t want to show the world.

 

About 6 months ago I read of something the doctors were using in Europe for their patients with Varicose Veins. I‘ve been buying my supplements from Swanson Vitamins in Fargo, ND for many years, and found their own supplement DiosVein in their catalog. They had a nice write up about it, but I had tried SEVERAL products over the years and nothing made a difference that I could see. However, my legs becoming more and more swollen with veins, and uglier and uglier, I decided to try it. I took photos of my legs when I started, and unfortunately the photos weren’t very good because I did it myself and even after several tries, I couldn’t get the lighting right to pick up the purple hues. The flash of the camera wiped out all color. But I did capture the bulbous lumps and bumps.

 

Well, time went by and I kept taking the DiosVein as part of my daily supplement regimen. I just did it and kept doing it, but without paying much attention. I still had lots of bumps and bulges and purple. About two months into it, my daughter came home for a visit and remarked how much better my legs looked. It was such a gradual change, that I didn’t really see it.

 

Now I have been about 6 months on DiosVein. The other day I came across those photos, and I was shocked at how bad my veins were. I had forgotten the huge winding tracks up my legs! But that evening, sitting in my recliner watching TV, I looked down at my legs! THEY WERE SMOOTH!!!! I tried to feel for lumps and bumps and felt just a few small ones under the skin. The purple had declined over the last few months, and I had noticed it improving. There were not nearly the bright hues that I had a few months ago, so I felt I was making progress there, but I still had significant spotting and color. But when I looked down and they were SMOOTH! Wow! I could hardly believe my eyes. I plan to continue on DiosVein and I fully expect the rest of the purple to go away, too! The change has been amazing!

 

I just wanted to share this with EVERYONE! What an wonderful find! Something for veins that actually works. I’ve taken 2 or 3 capsules a day, sometimes I forget the mid day dose, but I’ve aimed at the 3 X a day schedule.

 

If you have vein problems, I certainly encourage you to try this! The change is so gradual, I do recommend that you take photos, so you can remind yourself of your progress. My goodness I can’t believe my own eyes.

 

Also, I take zinc. The older we get the less zinc we have, and the more we need. It is essential for healing and one of the main reasons seniors heal so slowly. I take l of these two or three times a day as well.

Amazingly enough, hearing about the stuff for varicose veings through Swanson's seems to be working. I have been taking it about 3 months and have seen some changes. It is called Dios Vein and I will be giving it another 3 months.

I do not think diet has a lot to do what causes varicose veins, it may be part of the problem, but I think heredity has a big part of the problem. Sometimes being on your feet a lot can also contribute to the problem when you do not have enough support for your legs. "And no I am not fat, I wear a size 10 and I am 5' 7".

I wish the original questioner about varicose veins a good journey. There are some things out there that can really work. I have committed myself to 6 months with Dios Vein and if anyone reminds me, I will give another report. My left leg is really looking a lot better!

Adding vit.c and Vit e in high doses made my legs look great!
