Guest guest
My daughter was 18 when an Alaskan police officer body slammed her on the McDonalds floor with at least twenty witnesses. She had a concussion, bled through her ears immediately when she was bodyslammed. Now she has a bad time concnetrating on issues. It's been a few years, but can we do anything to keep this from happening again? We tried to report abuse, but they really protect their own here in Alaska. Thanks.--- On Sun, 3/1/09, M.M. <M.Realtor wrote: M.M. <M.Realtor Cop beats 15 yr old girl for kicking a shoe at him.Sunday, March 1, 2009, 7:30 PM >http://www.foxnews. com/story/ 0,2933,502544, 00.html>
Guest guest
Ben - have they silenced the witnesses? is there no police ombudsman where you are? What was the "reason" they picked on your daughter? If you can get homeopathy where you are give her Aconite 30C every night for a month as she goes to bed and Arnica 30C when she gets up in the morning - the Washington Homeopathic place seems a good place - (was easily found on google) I would send it to you but X-rays are not too good for the remedies - there are a few other things you could do if you are interested. By the way this is not medical advice per se - its what I did for a similar situation with good effect, Best, Jane - ben jackson Monday, March 09, 2009 1:57 PM Re: Cop beats 15 yr old girl for kicking a shoe at him. Guest guest
People are so quick to talk about suing. Lawyers fees would rob you blind and in the end you could end up losing your case. Is what happened to this girl right? Only the people that were right there can answer that. We did not see what all transpired. Are police always right? No they are not. They are human make mistakes go on a power trip and they make huge mistakes. Sometimes they have to pay for it and other times they get away with it. This world is not a great place any more. It used to be you could depend on the police to protect you. You could put your faith into the law enforcement they are employed by. Now their tactics are not always honourable. I wish your daughter well and hope she can be helped to get over her symtoms. Edith - Susan Siegel Monday, March 09, 2009 7:25 AM Re: Cop beats 15 yr old girl for kicking a shoe at him. Guest guest
The problem is that the police are getting away with this stuff more and more now. The police need to be held accountable. If there is no accountability, then we send a message that this behavior is o.k. We must make these types of cops accountable for their actions! Guest guest
Edith I agree you said : People are so quick to talk about suing Last night on TV news at dinner time here Down Under they showed a young man who was recovering from melanoma caused by years of using a solarium / sunbed / tanning thing. He wants to sue the manufacturer because he contracted melanoma using his device, where no warning was posted. I am sorry this young man has cancer...... but no one forced him to use the tanning bed.... imho, he used the tanning bed out of vanity....... why should he sue????? we have become a money grabbing self centred society. AND yet, in the case of the young people who have been beaten by the people sent to protect them...... I do believe those people should be made accountable.... sue?????? perhaps not..... brought before the courts YES most definitely. Guest guest
It is said in the laws that when a public officer breaks a law, their authority ceases to exist. So, in a nutshell, they are common criminals when they do such acts.
