You can either eat the seeds raw followed by drinking a glass of water, or hydrate them first by soaking them in water. Soaking releases a mucilaginous substance from the seeds and turns them into a kind of gel. This gel acts as a demulcent in the stomach and is extremely soothing. The chia seeds absorb excess acid and can relieve the discomfort of acid reflux. Chia seeds are chock full of nutrition, including omega 3s, and are a super nourishing food that has been eaten by native peoples for ages. Some places carry them in the bulk spice/herb section. Guest guest
I agree chia seeds can help this way, and they are just wonderful to eat even if you have no health problems. You still want to get to the root of the problems, as this will help only temporarily. That can be done with homeopathy, acupuncture, TCM, Cranial and perhaps other valid whole-person healing modalities.
