Guest guest
Hi, I finally got some DMSO with aloe, in a salve form. I have cracked or bruised ribs. Any suggestions on how I should apply it? Once a day? 3 times? I rubed some on and am geting a burning sensation. Not bad, but can tell it's there. Is this normal? What can I expect to see from the use of the DMSO? This is new to me. TIA Chuck
Guest guest
The burning/itching sensation is normal. I would apply it as often as you are able to. Once it dries, apply continuously as you are able. The more times you put it on the faster you will heal. It will take away the inflammation and help your body to heal much faster. Football players have been using this since the 70's to help them play when they are injured or recover much faster from injuries. 60 minutes did a piece on it. You can probably find it on you tube. Guest guest
Hi I have been using DMSO for about 35 years (learned it from owning horses for years and vets and blacksmiths love it for themselves. I like the gel as it does not burn. I find that if I sweat the area I put it on, it works the best. Put Saran wrap around the area after applying DMSO and then put something on to hold the wrap tight. I have used MSM and DMSO together for inflammation and pain withe good success. I get mine from a tack shop. I had a foal that broke his neck and lost control of his legs as his spinal cord swelled. The vet gave him DMSO IV and within a day or two I could see it working as his coordination was coming back. Then I had an accupuncture expert work on him and that really helped. One side he fell asleep and when she put the needles in on the other side it sent him over the top it really bothered him that much. Guest guest
Depends on the person. After about the 10th time you apply it, your leg, knee, etc (tissue starts turning red) and you should stop using it until the inflamation goes away.
