The Grandmothers say, "We have come to empower women so that each one so empowered can begin to bring the great imbalance on earth into balance." This balance that they have come to bring is for all people, although it must begin with women. The feminine principle of energy must be reestablished to its rightful place. Each woman who receives the Grandmothers empowerment is helping infuse the much-needed energy of yin into the earth by herself embodying this consciousness.

Please accept my deepest heart thanks for all the work you and the Grandmothers and our Grandmother Circles leaders did coordinating the Net of Light that has been extended over Victoria .. while fires are still a concern in some areas, everyone has been so grateful for all the support they're receiving from so many folk all around the world .. and beyond ... truly it has opened the hearts and minds of many Aussies and so many others around Mother Earth ..

We continue to visualise the Net in place, and also the healing, gentle feminine rains falling and putting out the flames... understanding that a massive purification has taken place on other levels of awareness ...

I would love to see us coming together in coordinated ways as so many have done for the bushfires here, to work together in groups all over Mother Earth to bring healing and compassion, love and joy, peace and harmony ... to know that we can call on each other to work together like this for the greater good of all ... i have received so many beautiful messages from goddesses around the World since you shared my prayer request .. we are ONE in heart mind body and soul when we work together like this ..........

Grandmothers Message: You Need a Practice

"Grandmothers," I said as I came before them, "you were right when you said the times of crisis are now upon us. Your message and your messengers are desperately needed at this time, but many of us who want to work with you are struggling just to stay connected to your presence. And unfortunately unless we ourselves are connected to the Source we can't help anyone else.

We are bombarded with fear and negativity all day long," I explained, "so even with the best of intentions, we find ourselves drifting in and out of oneness and getting caught in the dramas of the day. You have said that each person who holds steady during these times of shifting energy will be a blessing upon the earth. Grandmothers," I asked, "how can we do a better job of holding steady so that we can be this blessing? "

The Grandmothers smiled as they listened, then they came in close, surrounded and embraced me. "Let us fill you," they said, "let us fill you first and always." And as soon as I felt them around me, touching and holding me, my body, and then my mind felt safe, warm, comforted and secure. Their touch showed me what a difference it made to be filled with love, how different it was to come from a place of being loved. Because they were holding me, suddenly I was calm, confident, and my anxiety about the state of the world was gone.

"Grandmothers," I said, "is it this simple? Is your touch, your presence all we need to hold steady now?Yes," they said, "it is that simple. We will give you all the support you need and stand behind and beside you every minute." Then they laughed, shook their heads and said, "When will you ever learn to call on us FIRST? You quickly become entranced by the latest story, crisis or scandal in the world," they said, "and as soon as that happens, you turn your mind away from us to the world. And when your awareness is focused on the craziness of the world you feel crazy and afraid. That is inevitable."

I listened, leaning forward and concentrating on what they were saying. "Grandmothers, how can we break this trance state we get caught in?" I asked. "You need a practice," they said, "something to do regularly throughout the day and night. Without a method of pulling your mind back to your connection with the Divine you will be caught in the madness of the world. And you must be firm in your intention to maintain this connection because as we have told you before, the world is a big distracting machine.

"We will give you some examples. Pray a prayer you love," they said. "Use it as a mantra and repeat it over and over again. You can say it aloud or repeat it in your mind. Or use a line from a sacred song, or chant one of the names of God. Chant the Gayatri mantra, chant or read the twenty- third psalm, a sutra, a passage from the Bhagavad Gita or another holy book, or simply hold the Net of Light for yourself and others. These are just suggestions," they said, "and you can also ask us to direct you to a practice. We will do that," they said, smiling and nodding their heads.

"We love you deeply and if you ask us, we will do everything for you." Then they smiled and regarding me fondly said, "You won't ever again have to struggle alone in a hostile world. We are always here for you."

VIGILANTES IN PINK, article from Marie Claire magazine, by Jan Goodwin In the hot, dusty district of Banda, situated in India's remote, rural north, acts of domestic abuse among the region's poorest are as commonplace as electricity outages and child marriages. And yet three years ago, when Sampat Pal Devi learned that a friend had been beaten by her alcoholic husband and that the local police, chronically indifferent to violence against women, had looked the other way, something inside her snapped.

Incensed, the 47-year-old mother of five gathered dozens of her female neighbors, armed them with sticks, and taught them how to fight back. Together, the self-declared Gulabi Gang, or "pink gang" (for the candy-colored saris that double as their makeshift uniforms), have beaten up accused rapists, profligate officials, and husbands who've abandoned their wives.

Last year, they even intercepted a group of black marketers pilfering from a local food bank. In this rigidly patriarchal region, where members of the lowest class earn as little as 75 cents a day, vigilantism, according to Devi, is the only way to empower women. "With no income and no skills, this is a desperate situation," Devi explains. "Women are completely vulnerable."

That's no longer entirely true, thanks to Devi and her ragtag band of unlikely warriors, who now number in the hundreds. (So popular are these local folk heroes that neighborhood shops can't keep up with the demand for pink saris, which women in surrounding villages have taken to wearing in support of their Banda sisters.) Devi says there are fewer rapes in the area now and more girls attending school. "We don't use violence much anymore," Devi says, beaming. "Now just our name and that we are coming are enough."

What Does It Mean To Be A Forerunner For The Grandmothers?,Julie Prince, Midland, Michigan I see the old world, the old systems falling down around us, a grey world of brick and mortar, of steel and concrete. On a broken pub sign hanging from one chain I see the words "All that was, is no more." The Yang way of doing is over.

Across from the old world I see a bright new world full of colors, flowers and communities. Right now as forerunners, we are in transition, the in between time. The Yin way of being has arrived. We can't go back, yet it seems a little uncertain where we are now.

We are spots of light all over the world dispelling the darkness; one candle can lighten a whole room of darkness. We are connecting to form a web around earth and all living things to Birth a New World.

The Grandmothers are infusing us with Yin Love and we will pass it on. Not of the mind, but of the heart. As women we do what we always do, we listen, support, nurture and heal. The old ways of communicating are leaving. We needed outer technology because we could not communicate with each other internally so we devised the telephone, the TV and the Internet. The new ways of communicating will be with our love from the heart, with our intuition, our telepathy.

Ask the Grandmothers to bring the women to us. Like an underground fire spreading across the land, unseen to others it reaches up and creates a spark that fuels the fire of our individual lights. Always burning, smoldering under the surface, waiting until the time is right to heal a heart that weeps or wake a soul that sleeps.

We are starting the ball rolling down the hill and really have no idea what is ahead, what will come of all of this. The United Power of Yin - the power of love is the strongest force in the Universe. It will change and rearrange the world. Just be the YIN every Day in every way. Ask yourself "What would a Goddess Do?" Don't "think" about how to bring the message to more women or have a plan of action, that is the old Yang way. Just open yourself up to the Grandmothers and they will weave the net of light through you to get the message out. Using a golden needle the golden thread will touch other women, sewing us all together in a patchwork quilt of Love. Out of this stillness, out of this getting together in love, out of journeying to the Grandmothers, the ideas will come, the message will spread from this foundation of the quilt of love. This is where all inspiration comes from, all creative ideas. As we gather together the energy will

increase exponentially weaving the light into the night.

Just let your mind go. Just open up, receive and let your Heart guide you and the path will be clear. Be still and know you are a Grandmother. Julie Prince
