" April 17, 2007 (Los Angeles) -- Cannabis may be bad for the lungs, but the active ingredient in marijuana may help combat lung cancer, new research suggests. In lab and mouse studies, the compound, known as THC, cut lung tumor growth in half and helped prevent the cancer from spreading, says Anju Preet, PhD, a Harvard University researcher in Boston who tested the chemical. While a lot more work needs to be done, " the results suggest THC has therapeutic potential, " she tells WebMD. Moreover, other early research suggests the cannabis compound could help fight brain, prostate, and skin cancers as well, Preet says. http://www.webmd.com/lung-cancer/news/20070417/marijuana-may-fight-lung-tumors Illegal ?? Guest guest
Death cures cancer also. Curative plants should be ingested not inhaled so that the lungs are damaged Also smoked marijuana does as much brain damage as alcohol, numbs your reflexes, and can cause breast enlargement in men. Cannabis: another great herb but definitely a double-edged sword as is alcohol. Neither of them should be criminalized. It's is your choice whether or not I believe it is a wise one. Please also note that webmd is a propaganda wing of the FDA. Webmd information must be checked carefully for the opposing view, if there is one--- On Mon, 2/16/09, Ben <banoyes2 wrote: Ben <banoyes2 Deception for Allopatic Profit Date: Monday, February 16, 2009, 9:25 AM A friend told me that Jay Leno said on his national TV show"Harvard researchers say marijuana cures cancer"now, there it is for the world to see -marijuana is a curative plantRick Simpson also proved it(watch "Run From the Cure")So how come this isn't broadcast far and widewhy does our criminal media keep this information as subdued as possibleI checkedIt's trueheres one more example of how our criminals in charge operate,it is NEVER in the public good."April 17, 2007 (Los Angeles) -- Cannabis may be bad for the lungs, but the active ingredient in marijuana may help combat lung cancer, new research suggests. In lab and mouse studies, the compound, known as THC, cut lung tumorgrowth in half and helped prevent the cancer from spreading, says AnjuPreet, PhD, a Harvard University researcher in Boston who tested thechemical. While a lot more work needs to be done, "the results suggest THC hastherapeutic potential," she tells WebMD.Moreover, other early research suggests the cannabis compound couldhelp fight brain, prostate, and skin cancers as well, Preet says.http://www.webmd. com/lung- cancer/news/ 20070417/ marijuana- may-fight- lung-tumorsIllegal ??
