Dr. Roberts sent Dr. Green his medical text,

Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic,

www.sunsentpress.com , 1000 pages, so he knows

how deadly it is. Imports shouldn't bother

Hawaii because you simply don't import anything

with aspartame in it. Who would want something

with poison in it anyway. Beautiful Hawaii has

the best coffee, and grows healthful fruit. They

can show the country how life can be without

aspartame. No longer can we eat processed

foods because they hide aspartame and MSG in

artificial and natural flavors, and fill

processed foods with other dangerous

additives. We can go back to scratch. As Dr.

Roberts says, " When in doubt throw it

out! " Hawaii has epidemics of diabetes,

seizures, obesity and suicidal tendencies which

no doubt are due to aspartame. They will save

millions of dollars in health care.

Actually Dr. Josh Green wrote his own resolution

which did pass, but last year the one Stephen Fox

and I wrote was never heard. Dr. Green's bill was not heard in the House.

Dr. Green is an ER doctor I believe. Reminds me

that I gave a physician in a walk-in clinic about

a mile from me information on aspartame and he

bought all Dr. Roberts books as well as Dr.

Blaylocks. About a year later he said with

knowledge then of what aspartame triggers he

found that 80% of the patients that came to this

walk-in clinic were simply aspartame victims, and

therefore he was able to get them well by getting

them off aspartame. Consider the same case in

emergency rooms. I remember when I gave out

flyers in an emergency room once. A few months

later I ran into someone I gave information to

and he said, " You should know after reading your

material I got off aspartame products, and never

had another seizure. I quit taking anti-seizure

medication. My physician was shocked because my

seizures had been so frequent. He also got his

patients off aspartame and found they no longer

had seizures either. " Just imagine a world

without aspartame!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's start with Hawaii.

When manufacturers find out that their products

won't be imported with aspartame they will change

the sweetener. Many times sweeteners are not

even needed. A physician called me from England

once and said, " they have aspartame in frozen

green beans - have they lost their mind!!?)

Look at the case of Dilantin, an antiseizure

medication. Aspartame is a seizure triggering

drug, and seizures are listed 5 times on the FDA

list of 92 symptoms. All three components can

cause seizures. An informant with Pfizer called

and said while he didn't want to lose his job he

thought it should be known that when Dilantin was

reformulated they added aspartame

unlabeled. There is quite a lot of information

in Hawaii about seizures now being more frequent

with Dilantin and the victims are suffering other

aspartame symptoms such as vision and male sexual dysfunction.

But consider this, Dilantin is a capsule you

swallow. Why would they put aspartame in

something you swallow where you don't need a

sweetener? Pfizer knows what they are doing,

they once owned Monsanto, and then spun them off

I believe. If aspartame was not imported many

manufacturers could simply take the poison out

and not replace it. Aspartame is constantly

being used where sweeteners are not needed!

In another day or so we will have new information

on www.mpwhi.com. We are adding three more

congressional hearings in the 1970's on

aspartame. There is also discussion about two

other drugs made by Searle that also caused

cancer in original studies, Aldactone and

Flagyl. 33 years later all three remain on the

market even though they violated the Delaney

Amendment which forbids adding anything you know

will cause cancer. The documents are too big to

add to lists so be sure to check in a couple of

days. Some of the information is so

damaging. These documents are from l975 and

l976. In l977 the FDA requested the indictment

of Searle on the basis of fraud in original

studies. Title 18, Section 1001. As many may

know both US Prosecutors were hired by the

defense team and the statute of

limitations expired. Nothing has changed, the

studies that approved aspartame were these

studies and as Dr. Jacqueline Verrett, one of the

two toxicologists at the FDA who worked on the

issue, said to Congress: " All studies were built

on a foundation of sand and should be thrown

out " . So should all those since that time by

the manufacturers we have exposed that are flawed

or fixed. Almost 100% of all independent studies show the problems.

I hope Dr. Green will work even harder this year

to make it a reality. Many times in our lives we

hear statements that are profound you never

forget. When I was a young woman I dated a

brilliant traumatologist who wanted to bring

medicine up 100 years. I was trying to build a

trauma center run by helicopter ambulance in my

mother's name, and having a lot of political

problems. I'll never forget his words: " Betty,

if it was easy, it would have already been

done. When you do big things expect big

problems. It's only considered impossible

because it hasn't been done before. But if you

ever stop you'll never go back. " I have lived by

those words ever since, and that's why I've been

taking the case histories and exposing aspartame

for 17 years. I will not stop until aspartame is off the market.

We have made great strides. Holland Sweetener,

the largest aspartame manufacturer in Europe is

now out of business, and another company as

well. Tosh in Japan stopped making it. Merisant

has gone bankrupt, and Ajinomoto in the last 9

months has a net loss of y4.31 billion. We're in

39 nations with people everyday warning and

educating the public in those countries as well

as in 50 states. Aspartame Detoxification

centers have been set up in several states and

two countries. Medical texts have been

written. I personally have taken the case

histories of 50 people who got off of it. The

material from Mission Possible International is

spread around the globe. Our hero experts,

Doctors H. J. Roberts, Russell Blaylock, R.

Walton, Ken Stoller, and others continue to write

and lecture on it. Dr. Roberts took care of

aspartame victims in the trenches of medical

practice as did Dr. Blaylock before they

retired. Dr. Stoller and Dr. Walton still do. I

have helped hundreds of students educate their

classes. Dr. James Bowen, another expert who has

Lou Gehrigs from aspartame has devoted his life

to alert the public. There are many doctors who

found out about aspartame because of the material

who now warn their patients by the

thousands. One in Virginia not only wrote a

letter to all his patients but published it in a

local paper. Our doctors wrote articles on how

aspartame destroys the brains of our children

called Report for Schools to email to Boards of

Education around the world. Today so many

doctors are now involved like Dr. Bill Deagle who

went to Hawaii for a press conference.

So many radio stations and other media continue

to spread the information, even Atlanta Magazine

right here in the home of Coca

Cola. Documentaries have now been made to alert even more of the population.

Today several other countries are trying to get

aspartame banned who wouldn't have even known

about aspartame if we hadn't spread the word all

over the world. Romania already has. 47

members of Parliament in the UK signed for

ban. Stephen Fox wrote the aspartame ban bill,

and he and I wrote the resolution. Some of the

Mission Possible operations are

physicians. Others are very creative people,

writers and publishers, many are victims wanting

none to suffer as they have, others

activists. Add them up and you have a global

dedicated humanitarian effort by an incredible

network of people who want to save lives. Look at

the Idaho Observer who publishes the Artificially

Sweetened Times, 24 page booklets for

distribution to alert the public. They do it to

help the effort and save the people, and say they

will keep it published until aspartame is off the market.

Dr. Deagle once told me that aspartame was worse

than depleted uranium because of its ubiquitous presence in so many foods.

We can get aspartame off the planet if each and

every one helps. Hawaii can lead the world and

help other states and countries if they ban

it. We can't let words like " impossible " get in

the way. All they have to do in Hawaii is note

that aspartame is illegally on the market because

it violates adulteration laws, the Delaney

Amendment and Interstate Commerce laws. The

problem is stopping the violation of law. Once

outlawed in Hawaii the dominos will

fall. Remember Mission Possible is so named

because we believe it is possible to do it.

All my best,

Betty
