Guest guest
An acquaintance of mine has been given methotrexate to help with psoriasic arthritis. It is highly recommended that people who use this drug take folic acid to off set nasty side effects. I don't know if he uses folic acid and will ask him when I see him, but reading up on this drug, it gives me the heebie jeebies re the side effects. I wonder if anyone is familiar with this drug and would know of an alternative to this drug that is not going to take him out due to the side effects. Looking forward to any responses. Guest guest
You are quite right and that is what I meant when I said reading the side effects gives me the heebie jeebies. However, his psoriatic arthritis is very bad and the pain unbearable without something to treat. Other drugs he used were not helping him. I am looking for the 'something' as an alternative to the methotrexate. Hanneke At 09:36 AM 4/02/2009, you wrote: Methotrexate is Chemo-Therapy. Why is this being given anyhow? Guest guest
Thank you Gene, I will pass this information on to him. He is a grown man and I am not in a position to tell him what to do, apart from the fact that he wouldn't take any medical advice from me even if his life depended on it (which I believe in this case is a real possibility). I will urge him to take this information with him to his practitioner. Sometimes I do wonder why people ask me for information to then right out dismiss it as garbage.. ah well, one can only do one's best. Guest guest
Oh come on Hann people respect your knowledge and intelligence - they just need you to condone their stupidity! When you don't they continue to be stupid anyway! Jane - Hanneke Wednesday, February 04, 2009 10:34 AM Re: methotrexate and psoriasic arthritis Thank you Gene,I will pass this information on to him. Guest guest
Dear Hannake, That's OK, however you're giving him nutritional advise to help him as a fellow human being, so it's not really medical advise because it's not medicine. I also believe that it's nutrition that heals you anyhow as drugs are what kills you. Drugs don't heal, as drugs kill. Gene
Guest guest
Maybe that's why we get shots from birth, flouride in the water, chemtrails in the sky, GMO foods, fast foods, fractionalized nutrition(Centrum and One-A-Day). It's because they want everybody: Stupid, Sick and Poor (IRS). Gene
