let's see----babies have been born for---how long now?---hundreds of thousand years?--Amazing how they managed to get born and not bleed to death before Vit K shots were invented!!--not to mention all the others!

I had my babies at home--and most didnt get any shots. Unfortunately I had to go to the hospital with one---she got the Vit K and immediately turned deep yellow. That's why babies turn yellow---not due to some natural cause. The stuff attacks the liver!!! Babies don't need it---if they did it would be there! Yes, Vit K is to help the blood clot. I've heard, however, that it's100x the amount that a baby should have. It takes about a week forthe blood to start clotting well. let's see----babies have been born for---how long now?---hundreds of thousand years?--Amazing how they managed to get born and not bleed to death before Vit K shots were invented!!-- not to mention all the others!

I had my babies at home--and most didnt get any shots. Unfortunately I had to go to the hospital with one---she got the Vit K and immediately turned deep yellow. That's why babies turn yellow---not due to some natural cause. The stuff attacks the liver!!! Babies don't need it---if they did it would be there! Yes, Vit K is to help the blood clot. I've heard, however, that it's100x the amount that a baby should have. It takes about a week forthe blood to start clotting well.
