Guest guest
Well, I had a relapse 3 days before Christmas. I guess I need to go back about 5 years. That's when I became extremely ill and found that I had lyme disease, adrenal, thyroid, viral and bacterial infections, was dehydrating, couldn't absorb any nutrients, candida, subpressed immune system and blood sugar issues, just to name a few. Chose to go homeopathic as conventional doctors wouldn't listen to me. They kept wanting to give me anti depressants. My homeopathic treated me, successfully, for lyme. Took 3 years, but it's all gone. But, my immune system just never really got any better. I couldn't take his meds for candida so that never really got dealt with. Well, I managed to get by these last few years and thought by going all organic and drinking tons of water, doing herbs, that I had it beat. Not so. I relapsed. Tried a new doc, integrative. He pretty much gave me the same diagnosis as my old doc, no surprise, only he did say that I have heavy metals and lots of mercury in my system. And, he said that because of my allergies and chemical sensitivities that I'm one step away from being put in a bubble. So, now I'm taking his supplements, B 12, Vitamin C & E, CoQ10, Magnesium Aspartate, probiotics, something for my thyroid and who knows what else. I am a little better, but am still struggling, espcially with fatigue. I know the mercury is really working against my system and I really need to deal with it. My next appointment isn't until early March, as he's gone these next 3 weeks for re-certification. I thought about doing the bentonite clay. I know there was some chit chat some time back about it. Has any done this? Good results? Bad results? Would love to hear some feed back on the subject. Sandra, NC

Then I could taste the metals. It was so gross. I went to a really good health food store and got a heavy metal cleanse. Because my system is very sensitive I am not able to take the amount that is recommended. When I was finished with that cleanse, I waited 2 months and then did a body cleanse. I waited another 2 months and did another body cleanse. Then I went back to huge amounts of vitamins. it takes time but I feel so much better. Don't give up, you will also improve but time is the operative word. Things improve slowly. Edith
Guest guest
Your situation and mine are similar in many ways. I have been housebound for four years. I have MCS, metal and herbicide poisoning, in addition to neuro-Lyme Disease not diagnosed for years and Cushing's Disease. Until I went to Dr. Rea at the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, I was not properly diagnosed. Now that I have been, I can start doing the right things to try to get well. I was broke by the time I got my diagnosis. I could not afford a FIR sauna, for example. I am doing the cheap stuff......using bentonite clay, charcoal, zeolite, and algin. Along with foot baths. All important I think for they do different things. Cheap foot bath......Find Richard Loyd's site, click on articles and find the mold and detox one. It has a plan for a cheap foot bath using two plastic shoe storage containers. Radio Shack parts are listed. Josie

Guest guest
Thank you Josie!! I have a foot bath, but don't use it. I will check out the site you mentioned. Right now, I'm doing epsom salt baths to help with the toxins, but know I need to do more. Again, thank you!! Guest guest
You might look for a Defeat Autism Now Doctor who specializes in mercury toxicity or even a Doctor of Environmental Medicine. The autism community and doctors who treat autism are very up to date with the latest is testing for total body burden and the chelators that work best with mercury, lead, arsenic, etc.. They can also run tests to make sure that you are excreting mercury or other toxins and tell you when it is time to stop or take a break. Many of them know about natural chelators as well as prescription ones. If you go to google Generation Rescue, I believe that they have a list of all the Defeat Autism Now Doctors or at least they have a link. Lynne SanchezA Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. Guest guest
First you must kill inflammation in the body by taking 6 caps (or equivalent liquid EPA/DHA) for one week to ten days. Second, do a full colon cleanse with herbs, fiber, and bentonite for one week to ten days. Finally, use magnesium, cilantro extract, oregano, chlorella, selenium, EDTA, and other supplements that will pull mercury out of the body. Monitor progress with a hair analysis if you can.--- On Mon, 1/12/09, alexandriasg08 <alexandria08 wrote: alexandriasg08 <alexandria08 Mercury detox Date: Monday, January 12, 2009, 8:55 PM Well, I had a relapse 3 days before Christmas.
