Guest guest Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 Hi All, i wanted to share this with all of you b'coz i want you all to know how lucky and blessed we all are, ie, those who are able to see this PPS. Please ignore the first part of the PPS as it show the luxury of a House owened by the Dhubai Rich Oil/Petrol Nation, and as the proverb goes, Money can buy a House But Not a Home, so please do not envy them at all, as even the rich have their own problems.So, if you were to compare with the second part of the PPS, you will come to realize your blessings, as those in the 3rd World Countries and those esp in Africa are poor, in poverty, improvished and don't even have the basic necessities of Life, and that is Water or even Food nor some even a Roof over their Heads, nor even a basic education. And imagine this, they are suffering for it Every Day of their lives....so Pitiful! Peace and Blessing To All Of U. The slide show asks us to be grateful for the food and water that we have and contrasts that with the famine struck, war torn living skeletons out there. But how can any right thinking person be grateful to the God for the comfort of our life and at the same time allowing the suffering of those poor people? If the mail had suggested some positive action, that would be better. If we accept that God has the power and knowledge to do the right thing, we have to accept the destiny (fate) of those people. May be they are grateful for still being alive, though some of us would pray for the release of death. How does the forwarding of that mail help those poor people? It is not like the hunger site where clicks help some starving kid get a bowl of food.I am dismayed and confused by that mail. I pray to God to give us wisdom to do the right thing. I am sure you had the best intentions in sending that mail and so I am not finding you at fault.
